She certainly saved her best for last as in the Bronze Championship game she contributed 6 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 block as she was a regular piece in the paint, holding it down defensively and helping the scoring bulk. Arnold’s confidence skyrocketed this week as anyone watching clearly noted and moving forward she will continue to hone her skills.
Keelie O’Hollaren Keelie O’Hollaren 5'10" | SG Lakeridge | 2023 State OR 2023 5’10″ SG Oregon Elite/Lakeridge HS – Keelie is one of the youngest members of the Oregon Elite program but also one of the most skilled. The versatile guard can score in a variety of ways and make plays on the floor and this week she really was able to put these characteristics into play. The Lake Oswego native had 6 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists in the Bronze Championship as it was indicative of her ability to fill up the stat sheet based on being a complete team player.
Lainey Spear Lainey Spear 6'2" | PF Beaverton | 2023 State OR 2023 6’0″ PF Clutch Players/Beaverton HS – Lainey played a huge role in Clutch Players 2022’s success as she was incredibly engaged in the paint both as a high post passer and scorer on the block. Spear contributes in many ways as a long stringy athlete who shows discipline with the ball and can make plays both for herself and others in stride. The Beaverton forward averaged 9 points and 5 rebounds in her four best games this week in Indianapolis.
McKenzie Hirsch McKenzie Hirsch 5'11" | SF Crater | 2022 State OR 2022 5’10″ SF Oregon Elite/Crater HS – “Mac” Hirsch is the warrior, ultimate team player for Oregon Elite 17U White whose efforts are sometimes lost amongst the box score. She is the type to dive on the board for loose balls and come up with the possession for her team and will get effort points based on grit. The Crater forward had her best game of 2 points and 6 rebounds where she hustled and continued to show her trademark “roll up the sleeves” technique that has made her what she is.
Alexa Borter 2021 5’11″ SF Clutch Players/Beaverton HS – Alexa was a key cog in Clutch Players 2021’s week in Indianapolis as she was a vital utility player that made key contributions from both ends of the court. Borter can score inside the paint, rebounds at a good rate with her solid frame, and knows how to find players through the seams. She had several games where her statline was very much so telling of this as her 7 point, 3 rebound, 3 assist performance in pool play described her adaptability.
