Eva Butler continues to dominate on defense no matter what opponents are put in front of her. She is very fast with the ball and usually beats other people down the court when they are trying to make a fast break. On offense, she has a nice outside shot, and she uses her speed to blow by opponents. She makes nice passes into her teammates getting everyone involved, and she does an excellent job controlling the tempo of the game. This girl has a bright future ahead of her!
Maleigha Jackson was a force inside making nice moves and grabbing rebounds against tough defenders. She was a quick defender herself jumping into passing lanes. She had several blocks when her team needed them most. She showed off her jump shot from all over the court as well.
Mya Olmeda showed that she is a quick ball handler and seemed to stay calm under whatever kind of pressure was put on her. She is sneaky with the ball and when she does not have the ball, she makes nice backdoor cuts looking for the ball.
Nora Schroeder showed that she knows how to use her height having three blocks in the first half of a game. She has an outside shot that she seems to use as a weapon because she knows how to drive around a defender that is closing out on her. She has great moves driving along the baseline and finding her shot or dishing it to an open teammate.
Ryan Swilling is an athletic guard who can handle the ball and move into the open spots without it. She is an aggressive defender always causing her opponents to change directions and change their minds about where they want to go with the ball.
The post play was dominated by Precious Ogboko. She had her way on the block moving players where she wanted to when she was making a play with the ball or going up for rebounds. She made some nice cuts inside, too, showing her versatility.
