Continue ReadingPaige Penzter 2022 5’9″ SG Three Peaks/Ridgeview HS – The College of Idaho signee showed everyone what she does best – as an aggressive slasher at the rim who also has a knack for rebounding. She makes a lot of plays around the rim around defenders, as she is a fearless wing who has a scoring mentality. This was apparent in Three Peak’s first game in Utah, as she notched 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 steals.
Rhyan Mogel Rhyan Mogel 5'10" | SF Clackamas | 2023 State OR 2023 5’10″ SF NW Stars/Clackamas HS – Mogel has had a productive summer, as she is one of the NW Star’s most animated two way players – Utah was no different. This was all in their first game, in which she had a 10 point, 4 rebound, 3 assist, 4 steal performance, as the Clackamas wing is incredibly engaged as a defender and she transitions this energy and grit onto the offensive end as well.
Sage Kramer Sage Kramer 6'1" | PG Philomath | 2022 State OR 2022 6’0″ SF NW Stars/Philomath HS – Sage is the calm assassin who is incredibly efficient in her demeanor, which is to score and provide some big time moments defensive. She doesn’t need a lot of shots on offense and makes the most of them, on defense she is disciplined, engaged, and makes the right reads and plays. Such was depicted in her 10 point, 2 rebound performance in which she hit a three and scored inside.
Audrey Kehoe 2022 5’11″ PF NW Stars/West Linn HS – Audrey had a big week in Utah, as she displayed fluidity in the paint as a scorer and continued to show her prowess as a defender and rebounder. She is a forward with good athleticism and length, which she used to her advantage all week long. Such merits were shown in her 12 point, 5 rebound performance for the NW Stars.
Olivia Poulvaati 2023 5’11″ PF NW Stars/Tualatin HS – Olivia is a versatile forward with size but also showcases quite a bit of skill as a big. She is highly productive on the glass when she is on the floor, as she accumulates boards at a steady rate. Also a steady scorer, but what impressed the most was her uncanny ability as a passer alongside the perimeter. Such qualities were shown in her 5 point 6 rebound, 4 assist performance for the NW Stars.
Peyton Gardner Peyton Gardner SG Bend | 2022 State OR 2022 5’5″ PG Three Peaks/Bend HS – Peyton showed her ability to shoot it from deep as well as her top end speed, as when she hits a corner it is difficult to stop her. A talented soccer/track athlete, Gardner uses her burst and speed to take on defenders in the open court. Also a talented on-ball defender. This is seen in her 7 point, 3 assist, 2 steal performance in which she had several impressive scores.
