“The Beast”
Emilia Bishop is a forward with tremendous skill as an all-around savvy player who has a solid frame matched with her interior scoring skills and outlet passing abilities. She is playing a veteran role for a rather young Oregon Elite Gold squad, as she played it simple to her routine script in this game. She was rebounding at a tremendous rate, particularly on the offensive boards and had numerous put backs. Bishop also found her footing alongside the perimeter, sinking a fifteen shooter along the baseline. The Northern Colorado signee sang to a tune of 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Sofia “The Hurt” Megert
Sofia is amongst new faces at Oregon Elite Gold, as the speedy guard hails from South Eugene and has had a considerable career there thus far. She showed her ability to affect the game across several levels, particularly as a shooter and floor general who routinely involves others in the master plan. She collected steals regularly throughout the entirety of the game and had some big moments for her new AAU club. Her stat-line was very impressive as well – 7 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals – as it was very telling of her abilities out on the court.
Lakeridge Trio
Keelie O’Hollaren caused a bit of a downpour as she was raining buckets from all over the floor as she made for a forecast change in Arizona during this game. She was incredibly decisive and dynamic in her decisions and always seemed to play within the structure and flow of the game. Keelie hit from deep and had some skill mid-range points, as she certainly knows where her spots are and how to get to them. Reese Ericson was shelving out dime on the regular as a poised player with veteran-like qualities. Addie Reardon was the calm and collected yet aggressive scorer inside the paint, as she got to the line and found ways to involve her teammates and had some superb defensive stops as well. This Lakeridge group brings a lot of consistency and resilience to a well-rounded squad in that of Oregon Elite Gold.
