Players that may have slip past the eye or the attention of a college coach. The players I will talk about play for the Carolina Flames organization and have gotten a chance to play inside a bubble style event in Hampton VA in the Boo Williams Sports complex. They have competed against other Nike EYBL affiliated teams. So here are a few players to put on your radar for the 2021 class.
2021|6”1|F | Southeast Raleigh| Morgan Graham
stock is risen more and more every time she plays. Graham is a long athletic player who is capable of pushing the ball on the break. She runs the floor well making it easy to find her in transition for the score. Able to put the ball on the floor and get to the basket seems to be effortless for her. Such a dynamic player in many ways. The only thing you can do is marvel over what she can be when she reaches her max potential. She is going to be something special for what ever school she lands at.
2021|6”0|F| Trinity Christian School| Desiree Smith
She is athletic and long, her ability to defend in the post and on the perimeter makes her a tremendous part of her teams defense. She can showcase knocking down the mid range jumper from the elbow, which seems to be a lost art. She plays hard in the post area with always aggressively going after ball for rebounds. She continue to get better and better and has not even. Reach her max potential. She would be a steal for a college program to get their hands on.
2021| 5”11| F| Jack Britt| Ashara Hayes
She is long athletic and can play up to 3 positions. Her versatility creates a nightmare for the opposing team. Her smooth mid range stroke and her ability to push the ball. Her length on the court makes her a player that can score on all three levels definitely a D1 talent. Just needs NC the opportunity to be able to showcase it.
2021|6”1|F| South Mecklenberg |Nyomi Ndango
She is a strong inside the post area. Causing problems for her opponent. Solid rebounder, does a good job in cleaning up the boards. Ndango brings size and activity on both sides of the ball. She can make it difficult for the opponents in getting their shot attempt off. She will be a great edition to a program.
2021 5”7|G |ST. Paul High| TJ Eichelberger
Can attack the basket aggressively. Able to shoot the three ball off the dribble or spot up catch and shoot. Strong guard who is able to cause problems against smaller guards with her length. Also she is a great teammate to have encouraged other players and leads by example. She is a steal for college programs.
2021|5”11|G|Needham B. Broughton |Greenleigh King
She can flat out shoot the ball. She does not hesitate when she sees day light to shoot. Her score mentality first is great attribute to have. Her size makes for her to be a hard guard at 5”11 on the perimeter. She really will be a good pick up for colleges.
