Detroit Girls Basketball 2021 Super Team (Part 1)

These players can never get enough spotlight because there representation of Detroit area basketball is enormous. This is my first edition of the Detroit Girls Basketball 2021 Super Team:</strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="4132" first="Damiya" last="Hagemann"] (2021, PG, Detroit Edison)</strong> Hagemann is exceptional. Her leadership is off the charts. Her basketball IQ is off the charts. She is the quintessential point guard. Good handles, pushes the ball, controls tempo, and distributes the ball with consistency. She can score inside and out. She will attack the rim, shoot the midrange, and knock down the open three. She is a force defensively. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="28015" first="Mikyah" last="Finley"] (2021, SG, Detroit Renaissance)</strong> I feel Finley is going to have an amazing season year and an outstanding college career. Her skill set is outstanding. I’m impressed with her court vision and her decision making. She knows when to take the good shot or make the proper pass. She also shows a desire to play good solid defense. She is a keeper. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="28005" first="Monica" last="Williams"] (2021, CG, Detroit King)</strong> Williams is a big time scorer for Detroit King who had some outstanding scoring games last year. She is primed to continue doing this in her senior season. Besides her scoring I like how hard she plays. I love her intensity on the court. She could be my point guard on any team because she leads by example, produces, and doesn’t commit turnovers.. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27997" first="Nika" last="Dorsey"] (2021, SF, Detroit Renaissance)</strong> Dorsey is a Bradley Brave bound player who has been a joy to watch develop. She has worked hard on her game every single year and it is paying dividends. She is very athletic and has a high skill set and basketball IQ. He can play the game with or without the ball. She is a leader on the court. She is going to have an excellent senior season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="28017" first="Shannon" last="Wheeler"] (2021, PF, Detroit Renaissance)</strong> Wheeler is the consummate team player who will sacrifice her outstanding skills for the betterment of the team. The meaning of this is she can flat out ball but she is unselfish and wants to win as a team. Wheeler plays hard on both ends of the floor and contributes significantly. She scores, she rebounds, she blocks shots, she is a good passer, and she gets deflections and steals. She does all the things that is needed to have a successful team. She is a joy to watch. &nbsp;
