2025
Lylian Walton (TNBA)
Walton has played up a couple of times with her older sister’s squad and it’s there, she creates her shot, has a nice midrange, and attacks strongly but she also defends and battles, good upside especially with her comprehension of the game
2026
Draden Moss (Just Play Carolina 14U)
Moss creates her shot under pressure, showed she could knock both the midrange and the long-range down as well as handle the ball in the open court and attack the rim
Piper Francis (Just Play Blue 14U)
Francis has good size as well as upside because she already “gets it” and her using her body well on the inside showing good hands and footwork as well as being able to finish are all good signs for some level of the next level
2027
Alexandra Gordon (Just Play Carolina 14U)
Gordon has “ups” jotted by her name and that’s always a plus because she elevates for rebounds as well as on her jumper but she also has that “court savviness” I love seeing in young players
Victoria Walton (TNBA)
Walton isn’t fazed by going against the older players, I’m about ready to drop the #LOCK on her right now simply because she’s poised against whatever age she’s going against, okay I’m locking her now
Tess Stephenson (Just Play Blue 14U)
Stephenson already handles the ball well, sees the floor, and can shoot the three so factor in her age, and oh my, I am seeing the future which is bright
Rylee Poindexter (Just Play Blue 14U)
Poindexter sees the floor very well but she also plays the passing lane, very well and watching her do both just energized me to keep going so I wouldn’t miss anything
Mackenzie Teuton (Lady Panthers)
Teuton looked familiar and all I can say is wow after her first Tip Sheet. Fast forward to now, this young lady here is going to be hard to handle, she attacks, sees the floor, and creates the mid to long-range with ease
Peyton Cooks (Lady Panthers)
Cooks caught my eye immediately, long and athletic usually does because that’s the base I look at, and looking at her attack and finish, play the passing lane, and defend was enough, for now, to know what’s next
Sydney Marshall (Lady Panthers)
Marshall held an in-depth conversation with me at a tournament last season, the mom played D1 and coaches high school but I was amazed at the then 5th graders’ knowledge and breaking players’ games down. I was even more amazed at seeing her on the court because she is already showing #BEASTlike signs. She’s powerful, rebounds and finishes, can score off the dribble, handle the ball and face the basket score, plus her BB-IQ has me SMH
