Avery Peterson and Jazzy Davidson are a terrific tandem for the NW Stars in the 2025 class as Peterson is the dynamic point guard whereas Davidson is the elusive scorer with length. Halle Hageman Halle Hageman 5'6" | SG Mountainside | 2022 State OR is an electric guard with a superb feel who is always operating at a consistent pace for NW Stars Navy. Rhyan Mogel Rhyan Mogel 5'10" | SF Clackamas | 2023 State OR is another significant cog for NW Stars Navy as a decorated player that plays the entire length of the court. Ava Heiden for NW Stars White was a pleasant surprise as a center with significant size as well as skills inside the paint.
Avery Peterson 2025 5’5″ PG NW Stars White – Peterson is one of the youthful talents for NW Stars White as she is a floor general whose skills far proceed her age. Peterson is a leader in the half-court and transition setting as a lightning quick guard who has quick decision making skills. Her 15 point, 2 rebound, 3 assist performance versus Oregon Elite Bronze was certainly telling of her ability to score in bunches as well as contribute across the board.
Jazzy Davidson 2025 6’1″ PF NW Stars Navy/White – Jazzy doubled her duties for NW Stars Navy and White as one of her most impressive games came against Team 24/7 playing for White as she poured in 25 points in a masterful offensive performance. Davidson is a rare blend of length, feel, and touch as she has a plentiful amount of moves within her offensive arsenal – the only question is which she will pull out in a certain given moment.
Halle Hageman Halle Hageman 5'6" | SG Mountainside | 2022 State OR 2022 5’5″ PG NW Stars Navy/Mountainside HS – Hageman was a crucial performer for NW Stars Navy last weekend in their excursion in Arizona as she came up huge versus the NW Blazers. At the end of regulation, she sank two free throws to keep them in the game down the stretch and in overtime she sank four extra shots to help them clinch the contest. Her 8 point, 5 rebound, 3 assist effort did not go unnoticed as she was a clear difference maker.
Rhyan Mogel Rhyan Mogel 5'10" | SF Clackamas | 2023 State OR 2023 5’10” SG NW Stars Navy/Clackamas HS – Mogel continued to show her relentless abilities to contribute for NW Stars Navy as an established and hard-working versatile player who racks up stats by her pure ability to play the game of basketball. She is a two-way player who gives it all when she is on the floor and has been a cornerstone for NW Stars Navy’s success. Her 5 point, 4 rebound, 2 assist, 3 steal effort versus a formidable NW Blazers squad showed her all-around game.
Honorable Mention:
Ava Heiden 2024 6’2″ C NW Stars White/Sherwood HS – Ava is a 6’2” center who provides a lot of size as well as structure and discipline in the paint for NW Stars White. She is a one-person wrecking crew defensively as she shows elite rim protection skills, moving her feet well and showing precision while not fouling. Versus Team 24/7, she had a productive 8 point, 5 rebound, 4 block performance where she displayed all these characteristics.
