Best Available Senior Shooting Guards

With the season not starting until January (at the earliest) there are plenty of Kentucky Seniors still looking for a home at the next level. Here’s a look at some of Kentucky’s best unsigned shooting guards. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="88415" first="Jacqueline" last="Jackson"], Greenwood - </strong>Jackson was holding multiple D1 offers when she suffered a knee injury and missed her entire Junior season. Now back, Jacqueline joins [player_tooltip player_id="167101" first="Leia" last="Trinh"] in the Lady Gators Backcourt and could be a sleeper in the 4th region. If Jackson is back to her old self, D1 schools will be circling again soon. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="31854" first="Presley" last="Partin"], Knox Central - </strong>A tremendous shooter, Presley shot 41% from three last season and could thrive as a shooting specialist in college. She’s a good rebounder at the guard spot and capable of making tough shots as she sees double teams frequently and still manages to score just shy of 20 per game. She is the type who will be better as a secondary offensive option in college than having to carry the offensive burden like she does in high school. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="88440" first="Sammi" last="Sites"], Martin County - </strong>Another great long range shooter, Sammi had a great Junior season and is among the best outside shooters in the state after hitting 44% from three as a Junior. Sites led Johnson Central in almost every category last season and is set up for a great Senior season after transferring to Martin County. Don’t sleep on her being a candidate for top player in the region. She has an offer from Pikeville. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="88445" first="Kassidy" last="Daugherty"], Apollo - </strong>Daugherty combines volume with efficiency from beyond the arc, shooting 35% on 4.4 attempts per game.  This gives her the best combination in those categories of anyone on this list.  Kassidy is also a high academic student with a 4.0 GPA and 24 ACT and her academics success makes her a potential steal for a D3 or high academic college looking for a player who can make an impact for all 4 years. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="88449" first="Lexy" last="Lynch"], Owsley County - </strong>Lynch is one of the best in the state at getting to the free throw line. She’s also a great slasher and solid three point shooter. Lexy is also a really good rebounder at the guard spot, averaging over 6 per game last season. Owsley has a chance to make a run at Rupp and Lynch will be the one to get them there if they make it.
