Kennedy Powell Kennedy Powell 6'1" | SF High Point Christian Academy | 2022 NC (HPCA 2022 forward)
Part of the PGH NC 2022 watchlist, Cougars forward Kennedy Powell Kennedy Powell 6'1" | SF High Point Christian Academy | 2022 NC led all scorers with 24 points and added 10 rebounds. She’s an efficient scorer in the paint and opens the floor up for the rest of her team when she’s knocking down jump shots. Her consistent play is a big reason why High Point Christian is one of the favorites in the NCISAA 3-A division this season.
Tiir Nyok Tiir Nyok 6'0" | CG NC (HPCA 2022 guard)
Recently offered by Queens University (NC), Tiir Nyok Tiir Nyok 6'0" | CG NC does it all for the Cougars whether it’s scoring, passing, rebounding and it showed on Friday. She finished one assist shy of a triple double against Grace Christian and was the best player on the floor. does so while also guarding the oppositions best player every night. Her offer list is only going to keep growing as she continues to produce big numbers this year.
Callie LaVelle (Grace Christian 2022 guard)
Callie LaVelle is off to a solid start for Grace Christian this season after scoring eight points against the Cougars. She took good care of the ball against pressure defense and attacked the basket at will especially in the second half. Although it was tough sledding against HPCA, LaVelle will certainly help a good Eagles squad.
Jaclyn Deis (Grace Christian 2025 guard)
Jaclyn Deis certainly held her own against varsity competition even as an eighth grader. The 2025 guard finished with seven points and showed great energy on the defensive end. She’s another one of several 2025 prospects across the state that are playing varsity basketball in the NCISAA ranks. Expect her to improve as the season goes on.
