2022 Rankings Update: Top Scorers

Scorers come in all shapes and sizes - in terms of position and skill-set as the 2022 class was no exception, as it showcased a wide variety of skilled and varied players.  [player_tooltip player_id="158516" first="Danika" last="Starr"] is a forward with tremendous size and skill who has a poised and polished scoring mindset.  [player_tooltip player_id="207816" first="Brooklyn" last="Strandy"] is a guard with great length and awareness as her proprioception skills aid her as a highly skilled scorer with tremendous ability.  [player_tooltip player_id="158513" first="Abby" last="Graham"] is a tough and ignited basketball player who also happens to be a very aware and aggressive scorer.  [player_tooltip player_id="158517" first="Halle" last="Hageman"] is an effortless scorer who has a few different paces to her game.  [player_tooltip player_id="158519" first="Sofia" last="Megert"] is an elusive guard who doesn’t wait for defenders to react - she applies the pressure when the ball is in her hands. <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158516" first="Danika" last="Starr"] 2022 6’1" SF Oregon Elite Navy/Sheldon HS</strong> - Dani is an advanced scorer who uses her length, skills, and awareness to high regard when the ball is in her hands.  She knows how to get to her spots in a hurry and sinks them with great efficiency.  She is a three-level scorer who can also get a tough basket in the paint with brute force and her range extends out to the three-point line.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="207816" first="Brooklyn" last="Strandy"] 2022 6’0" SF West Albany HS</strong> - She is a big guard with athletic maneuvers with adept moves inside and out the paint, as she has a wide variety of moves near the basket that she moves to avoid defenders.  A superb finisher who gets the job done with innovativeness and style.  Strandy has a wide variety of offensive moves in her arsenal - it is just a matter of time and place.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158513" first="Abby" last="Graham"] 2022 5’10" SG Upper Left Legion/St Mary’s Academy</strong> - Abby plays with a lot of resilience and toughness on every possession, as she can truly do it all out on the floor.  Her ability to score all across the floor is something to take in, as she reads and reacts to an exceptional level.  Graham can press the issue at the drop of a pen and has a lot of dexterity as far as reading defenses - effortless when it comes to scoring.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158517" first="Halle" last="Hageman"] 2022 5’5" SG NW Stars Navy/Mountainside HS</strong> - She is showtime when the ball is in her hands, as she creates opportunities out of thin air through her relentless pursuit on offense as well as sixth sense for creating plays.  An avid facilitator, Hageman also has a sharp nose for putting the ball in the cylinder.  With an array of floaters, nice finishes, and her sharp-shooting abilities, she can truly do it all.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158519" first="Sofia" last="Megert"] 2022 5’5" PG Oregon Elite Gold/South Eugene HS</strong> - Sofia is a recent addition to Oregon Elite Gold as she proved she is an offensive catalyst when the ball is in her hands.  She is a fearless scorer who will take on a group of defenders in the paint and finishes with poise with a floater - she is also the confident sharpshooter from alongside the arc.  Megert plays with a lot of resilience and aggressiveness.  </span>
