Myla Hoover: The 5’7 guard from Forestview high school has put on a nice showing thus far! She is proving to be a scorer already, averaging double-digits so far, and shooting a nice percentage from the floor (well over 40%). On top of being a good scorer she is finding her defensive groove as well. She is a pesky defender who is not afraid to guard full court, and get in her opponent. She is someone to keep an eye on over the next 4 years. She plays AAU for the NC Gems organization.
Sara Warlick: The guard from Crest high school is another player who is showing her scoring abilities. Another freshman so far averaging in double-digits, and shooting over 50% from the floor. Her team has started off to a good start and she has helped contribute to that. Out side of being a good scorer she is doing alright on the boards as well thus far.
Monica Surratt: The guard from Crest high school is a stat sheet stuff so far. She can fill up the points, rebounds, and steals column. She plays hard and not afraid of the spotlight, again another reason why her team is 2-0 right now. She has nearly as many rebounds as points on this season, and that is not an easy feat for a freshie.
Anyssiah Love: The 5’9 small forward from Huss high school is thus far dominating the boards! She is averaging double-digit boards already, and not far behind it with points. She is tough, flies in there and brings down the boards. She has a knack for finding the ball. She will be a player to keep watching.
