Myla Hoover: The guard from Forestview high school has put on a scoring expo thus far in her young career. She is averaging a little over 15 points per game, and has had a career high of 23. Yet another stat sheet stuffer, she shares the ball with her teammates (nearly 4 assists per game), grabs a few boards, and forces turnovers (again nearly 4 a game). A very intriguing player to keep our eyes on for the next 4 years.
Sara Warlick: The 5’10 forward from Crest high school is off to a solid start for her freshman year. The 2 sport athlete is doing a good job scoring and rebounding consistently. She has come close to nabbing her first career double-double having a career high 12 boards in a game and tallying 6 points, and another career high 15 points and grabbing 4 boards. She is a hard worker, and has a promising future.
Whitney Brown: The 6’2 center from North Gaston high school is finding her way as a defensive threat. She is doing a good job of protecting the rim for her team, a good job snagging rebounds, and has already tallied a double-double (16 points and 10 rebounds). She will continue to improve her finishing in the paint, and continue to get into better shape. She is another intriguing one to keep on watching.
Savanni Harris: The 5’8 guard from Huss high school is proving to be another stat sheet stuffer. Between her scoring, rebounding, and assisting, she is contributing solid minutes for her team. She put up her career high 10 points in one of their latest games. She is a solid athlete who, again, has a promising future.
Anyssiah Love: The 5’9 small forward from Huss high school is proving to be a dominate rebounder. Averaging nearly 12 a game (yes as a freshman!!!) she has carved out her niche. She is making a name for herself by doing the hard dirty work a lot of players don’t like todo. Grabbing double-digit rebounds in every game she’s played in (but 1) she is on the verge of tallying her first career double-double. Her athletic abilities make her a player to know and keep watching.
