Mila Holloway (Covenant Day, PG, 2024) is a smooth ball handler driving to the basket and knowing when to pull up for her jump shot. She does a great job closing out on her opponents on defense making sure they don’t get by her. She also causes many deflections making it hard for her opponents to get something started on offense. She controls the tempo of the game pushing the ball up the court and knowing when to slow it down. She would somehow get lost by the opposing defense in the corners waiting to show off her three point shooting ability. She can score points off of old fashioned three point plays as well fighting through contact. She made some nice entry passes into her teammates posting up underneath. She finished with 15 points against Metrolina Christian Academy.
Raven Lexander (Concord Academy, G/SF, 2024) is a dynamic player who can play and guard most positions on the court. Her length helps her be an asset on offense grabbing passes and scoring close to the basket. On defense, her blocks and rebounds help end the possessions for her opponents. She can also handle the ball as she found herself pushing the ball up the court through the press from Metrolina Christian Academy. She finished with 16 points.
Evie Mcmahan (Charlotte Latin, G, 2024) wanted to make sure people knew she was a three point shooter. She did a great job following shots, too, as she can grab rebounds to end the possession of her opponents. She constantly looks for ways to push the ball up the court.
Emily King (Carmel Christian, G, 2025) is already making a name for herself as a three point shooter. She was ready to shoot each time she got the ball. On defense, she was aggressive going after the ball making sure the offense was not able to get easy points.
