<strong>Newell-Fonda at Pocahontas Area</strong> In a showdown of top TLC teams, reigning conference champion and state champion Newell-Fonda used a big second quarter to blow past Pocahontas Area, 81-50. The Mustangs outscored the Indians 26-11 during that period and followed it up with a 28-point third quarter. The Wildcats raced out to a 12-3 lead after the first. Jayda Hoefer scored 17 points, sinking a trio of 3-pointers. Bae Arnold added 11 and Kendal Clark had 10 with 19 rebounds. <strong>Bishop Garrigan at West Hancock</strong> Reigning state runner-up Bishop Garrigan showed that they are just as prepared in 2021 as they were in 2020.
