Emily Bowbliss (Union Pines guard, 2021)
Every time Corinth Holders made a run to get back in the contest, 2021 prospect Emily Bowbliss would end it with a big shot. The senior guard is solid on both ends of the floor, but really excels at hitting outside shots and getting to the basket. Expect her to be a big part of this Union Pines team as the season progresses as they look to remain at the top of their conference. Bowbliss finished with 20 points on 8-12 shooting in the victory for the Vikings.
Aaliyah Balser (Union Pines guard, 2022)
Balser is a really athletic 2022 prospect and her impact was felt in this contest despite only scoring three points. She was active on the glass securing important rebounds for her team down the stretch and even blocking a few shots. She’s going to be an important piece for the Vikings going forward if she can become a consistent scoring option.
Crawford Ramsey (Corinth Holders forward, 2021)
Lincoln Memorial signee Crawford Ramsey had an efficient performance scoring 15 points on 5-9 shooting. The senior forward is the go to scorer for this Pirates team and has led them to some big wins to start this season. Any chance of Corinth Holders making the state playoffs rides on Ramsey’s ability to be a three-level scorer and an excellent defender.
Abbey Gallons (Corinth Holders guard, 2022)
2022 guard Abbey Gallons knocked down some important shots for Corinth Holders as they tried to stay close. So far, she’s the second leading scorer for the Pirates averaging over 10 points per game over their first three contests. Gallons makes the right reads when leading the offense and can create shots for herself and her teammates at a high level.
Kamea Davis (Corinth Holders guard, 2024)
Although it was a struggle against Union Pines, Corinth Holders has a promising freshman in Kamea Davis. She can defend multiple positions and can consistently make plays off the dribble for the Pirates. Davis is also a beast on the glass averaging close to 10 rebounds per contest so far this season. Her potential is limitless and she’ll be a big part of the future for this program.
