Here’s a look at this week’s nominees. Polls close at noon eastern time on Friday! These were all nominated via our Twitter. Carlie Thurmond Carlie Thurmond 5'7" | PG Bethlehem | 2024 State KY , Bethlehem - In a win over Mercy, the Freshman had 14 points and a rebound while making the game winning steal and layup. No stats have been submitted for the second game of the week. Kayla Grant, Greenwood - The Senior had 14 points and 14 rebounds along with the game winning basket against South Warren. Leia Trinh Leia Trinh 5'6" | CG Greenwood | 2024 State KY , Greenwood - The Freshman had a team high 29 points in the win over South Warren. Macey Blevins Macey Blevins 5'11" | SG Wayne County | 2021 State KY , Wayne County - Against Somerset, the Senior scored 14 and had 6 rebounds. Against McCreary Central, she had 11 points and 5 rebounds. Against Mercer County she ended up with 20 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists in a win. Timberlynn Yeast Timberlynn Yeast 5'8" | SF Mercer County | 2023 State KY , Mercer County - In their only game of the week, the Sophomore had 21 points and 14 rebounds against Wayne County. Angelina Pelayo, Sacred Heart - She had 29 points, 11 rebounds, 2 blocks and a steal in a win over Walton-Verona. Paityn Isom Paityn Isom 5'6" | PG North Hardin | 2024 State KY , North Hardin - Against Hart County, the freshman had 21 points and 3 rebounds. Against Elizabethtown, she scored 14 and had 4 rebounds. Macie Feldman Macie Feldman 5'9" | CG Notre Dame | 2022 State KY , Notre Dame - She put up 23 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in an OT victory over Ursuline Academy then 12 points, 5 steals and 5 assists in a win over Owen County. Karmin Riley, Hancock County - Against Central Hardin, the 8th grader had 11 points and 4 rebounds. Against Meade County, she had 21 points and 4 rebounds then finished the week with 26 points and 6 rebounds against Whitesville Trinity. Whitney Lind Whitney Lind 6'1" | PF Cooper | 2023 State KY , Cooper - The Sophomore had 29 points, 9 rebounds and 2 steals against Scott, 24 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists against Holmes and 14 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists against Boone County. Rachel Presley Rachel Presley 6'2" | C South Laurel | 2022 State KY , South Laurel - In 4 wins, the Junior combined for 79 points and 21 rebounds. Halle Collins, Knox Central - The 8th grader had 27 points and 17 rebounds against Middlesboro, 22 and 5 against Lynn Camp and 20 and 13 against Bell County.
