Jada Brigman (Lady Attack Elite 2022 Gray, 2022) was showing her versatility on the court scoring at all levels. She powered her way through the paint scoring through contact, and she knew how to show off her shot from behind the arc. She sees the floor well finding her open teammates, and she moves with the ball making sure she knows exactly how to get the pass to its destination. On defense, her vision is an asset as she anticipates passes and jumps into passing lanes.
Jyana Salton Jyana Salton 5'9" | PG Porter Ridge | 2023 State NC (Charlotte Lady Monarchs 17U, 2023) was one of the main ball handlers for her team. She controlled the tempo of the games pushing the ball up the court or settling down to run a play. She has a nice jump shot from all over the court that she showed off. What was impressive is her getting inside to body some bigger opponents fighting for position to post up or grab a rebound. She made sure she was getting marks on all areas of her stat sheet.
Sydney Gueterman (Lady Attack Elite 2023 National George, 2023) seals off her opponents well on defense making sure they have to work for every entry pass. She can pick the pocket of her opponents, and she knows how to pass the ball up the court as her teammates are moving quickly into position. She is a strong rebounder as well extending the plays for her team on offense. She has nice post moves where she can position herself well to score.
Jade Washington (Lady Attack Elite 2023 National George, 2023) came right off the bench making moves fighting for her points driving to the basket and converting from the free throw line for the three point play. She is quick on her feet sliding well keeping her body in front of her opponent. She handles the ball well pushing it up the court herself, and she knows how to blow by her opponents.
Katie Alexander Katie Alexander 5'7" | CG Asheville Christian Academy | 2023 NC (Team Carolina Harrell, G, 2023) uses her effective communication skills to tell her teammates where to move, and she knows where to move herself to grab the steal. She moves well with the ball and can certainly score in transition. She follows shots and puts them back up for some second chance points. She can grab rebounds on defense and immediately find an open teammate running up the court.
Evangelia Paulk Evangelia Paulk 6'0" | SG Asheville | 2023 State NC (Team Carolina Harrell, 2023) was able to showcase her talents doing a little bit of everything over the weekend. She handled the ball bringing it up the court, and she showed off her shot from behind the arc. She does a great job sealing off her opponents inside, too, showing that she can score from the block. She follows shots as well going after rebounds to gain the possession or put back up for some second chance points.
Macy Wike (Team Carolina Larios, G, 2023) came right out showing off her jump shot. She handled the ball well pushing it up the court weaving in and out of her opponents. She did well going after rebounds extending plays for her team. She sees the floor finding her open teammates. She was constantly running the floor well making her presence known in transition. On defense, she was causing problems deflecting the ball away from her opponents, and she hustles after every loose ball.
