Emma Larios Emma Larios 5'7" | CG Asheville Christian Academy | 2023 State NC (Team Carolina Harrell, 2023) knows how to grab steals jumping into passing lanes. There’s a reason she was assigned to guarding the opponent’s best player. She can handle the ball with speed and threads the needle with her passes in transition finding her open teammates to score the bucket. She was showing off her three point shooting right when her team needed her to over the weekend.
Riley Smith (Lady Attack Elite 2023 Busby, 2023) is a great ball handler knowing how to blow by pressure and how to slow down to let a play develop. She can shoot well even scoring a three pointer in transition. She does well attacking the basket finding ways to score through contact, and she converts from the free throw line. She is aggressive on defense, too, grabbing steals to push the other way.
Bailee Goodlett (Charlotte Lady Monarchs 17U, 2024) is a good ball handler weaving in and out of her opponents. She attacks the basket fighting through contact. She is a tenacious defender stripping the ball from her opponents and pushing it up the court to the other end. She even hustles back on defense making sure opponents don’t have easy points by the basket and even had a block in transition. She scored the go ahead three pointer later in a game showing she can certainly do more than handle the ball.
Dorothy Mills (Team Carolina Williams, 2024) drives to the basket fighting through contact and scoring. She was the main ball handler for her team, and she already shows leadership at such a young age controlling the tempo of the game. She knew how to settle her team down to run a play effectively. On defense, she slides into passing lanes grabbing steals that she takes right up the court.
Sara Larios (Team Carolina Miller, 2025) knows how to hustle after the ball diving on the floor to gain possession. She slides into passing lanes grabbing steals and causing deflections. She even had a nice block in transition. She runs the floor well waiting for the pass in transition, or she is bringing it up herself. She controls the ball when running plays, and she makes great passes into her teammates. She has nice fakes that she uses to get some separation from her opponents.
