Leah Hines: The 5’3 point guard from Cox Mill high school is a true floor general. Watching her run her team is truly a fun thing to watch. This last season she averaged nearly 7 assists per game, bumping her up from her 1 assist per game the previous season. She pushes the tempo in transition, sees her open teammates, passes ahead, and keeps the flow of their offense going. She had 4 games with 10 assists this year as well, and another outing with 8. She is a leader, runs her team well, and is someone to catch this summer and in her senior year.
Dani Kacerosky: The 5’5 point guard from Charlotte Catholic is another proven leader for her squad. This last season she averaged nearly 6 assists per game, bumping her up from her nearly 2 assists per game this previous season. She does a good job finding her open teammates, she likes pushing in transition when she can, and makes good decisions rarely turning the ball over. She had 5 different outings where she had 7+ assists, including a 10 assists performance. On top of that she is a pesky defender, and shoots the 3 ball well. Catch her this summer and her senior year.
Jaclyn Faucette: The 5’8 guard from Clover Garden high school has great size, uses her speed, and makes an impact for her team. For her career she has nearly averaged 5 assists per game, with this season averaging right around 6. She has 300 more career assists than turnovers as well. She is a player who fills up a stat sheet, she can score, dish it out, rebound, and plays defense well. An all around player who is unselfish and does the little things, she is a player to watch. Catch her this summer she plays AAU for the Lady Gaters Select organization.
Laney Beal: The 5’9 guard from Chapel Hill high school is another player with great size and a good skill set. This last season she averaged nearly 6 assists, which is about where she was the season before, but she also played 15 less games (due to their shortened season due to COVID). She was well on track to keep bumping that average up. She had a 4 game streak down the stretch of the season with dishing out 8, 8, 9, then 7 assists helping her team to a 4 game win streak. She stuffs the stat sheet as well, being able to score it, dish it out, grab boards, and just plays hard. Catch her this summer she plays AAU for the Carolina Elite organization.
