Maraja Pass Maraja Pass 5'6" | PG Winston-Salem Christian National | 2023 State NC : The 5’4 point guard from Shelby high school is a true leader, a new state champ, and fun to watch. She has had a great career thus far, already has a few college offers, and is going to keep dominating for the next 2 years. She bumped up all her stats this last season, she went from nearly 5 assists per game to nearly 7, upped her free throw percentage and her field goal percentage. She had 5 games where she had 8+ assists. She has a great cast around her and great leadership around her. Catch her the next 2 years and this summer.
Faith Robertson Faith Robertson 5'4" | CG McMichael | 2023 State NC : The 5’3 point guard from McMichael high school is another leader, and came up just short of being a state champion. She averaged right around 6 assists both her freshman and sophomore seasons, and had 4 games with 8+ assists. She has quick and tight handles to control the tempo and dictate for her team. She turned it up on the defensive end averaging nearly 3 steals per game this season, compared to her 2 as a freshman. Catch her the next 2 years and this summer playing for the Greensboro Lady Gaters.
Jer’lisah Pridgen: The 5’8 guard from Southwest Edgecomb high school is a long and athletic player who helps her team go. She bumped up her assists from nearly 1 a game as a freshman to nearly 6 this year. She is a long athlete who makes her team go. She pushes the tempo, and had 7 different games with 7+ assists, inducing dishing out 14 in a win. She is a stat sheet stuffer as well, with nearly 14 points, 7 boards, and 5 steals to go with all her assists. She is fun to watch, and someone to keep an eye on for the next 2 seasons.
Nadiya Hairston: The 5’4 point guard from High Point Christian Academy is yet another stat sheet stuffer. She averaged nearly 5 assists per game this season, and added 12 points and 4 boards and steals. She had 6 different games with 8+ assists, including an 11 assists outing in a tough fought 1 point loss late in the season. She is a tough player who leads her team well. An all around player who should be on your radar.
