Alphonsia Eleko | Lady Phoenix CBA United Rudd | 2022
Eleko runs the the floor very well making sure she can score in transition or dish it to her teammate for the score. She knows how to make effective cuts, especially in the paint to score her points. She likes to silence the other team’s bench after a big play by making a nice move of her own and bully her way to the basket to score showing no fear for what contact may be waiting for her.
Christian Atwater | Greensboro Lady Gaters-Select | 2022
Atwater uses her size and power to have her way in the paint. She fights for the rebounds, and she can move her feet well making moves to score her points. She makes nice cuts to the basket, and she can certainly catch and shoot. She runs the floor well being ready in transition to score. In an overtime game, she battled for the rebound making an old fashioned three point play elevating her team past their opponents.
Corynn Perkins | Lady Phoenix Rocky | 2023
Perkins did a nice job driving to the basket waiting for the right times to make her cuts with the ball. She played aggressive defense staying right up on her man causing a lot of dead ball situations. She is persistent when going after rebounds and putting up her shots, especially off of second chances.
Makayla Carney | FBC Carolina Elite Mayo | 2024
Carney knows how to strip the ball from her opponents trying to drive to the basket. She did a great job sealing her opponent while on offense, so she could make one move turning to the basket to score. She is aggressive when boxing out physically moving her opponents out of the way, so they have no chance to grab the rebound. She used offensive rebounds for second chance points, too.
Hattie Sloyan | FBC Carolina Elite Mayo | 2024
Sloyan (pictured above) took an isolation play and made sure to score. She pushed the ball up the court and had a nice spin move in the paint to show off her floater for two points. She had some clutch shots late in the game when her team was making a comeback hitting a much needed three pointer and driving the ball to the hoop.
