We took five players from each grade level whom we believed could form the best starting lineup. Below are the five girls from the senior class.
PG: [player_tooltip player_id="153325" first="Skylar" last="Davidson"] - Wyoming East
[player_tooltip player_id="153325" first="Skylar" last="Davidson"] of Wyoming East turns up the pressure on the defensive side of the ball. Pressuring the defense to make a bunch of mistakes. Davidson attacks the rim aggressively and knocks down shots from all around. She is shifty and really quick.
SG: [player_tooltip player_id="153322" first="Baylee" last="Goins"] - Nitro
[player_tooltip player_id="153322" first="Baylee" last="Goins"] of Nitro always is the clutch gene. The bigger the game, the better Baylee is. She puts on a show for the crowds. Goins has a quick first step blowing by defenders and putting up her consistent floater. Goins is consistent all around on offense with her shot.
SF: [player_tooltip player_id="153323" first="Kalissa" last="Lacy"] - George Washington
The biggest deep threat for this lineup would be George Washington’s, [player_tooltip player_id="153323" first="Kalissa" last="Lacy"]. Lacy is a high catch and shoots target as she knocks down the three at a high percentage. If you get too comfortable guarding the three Lacy is good at attacking and finishing around the rim.
PF: [player_tooltip player_id="153335" first="Autumn" last="Lewis"] - Cabell Midland
[player_tooltip player_id="153335" first="Autumn" last="Lewis"] adds more height and a very versatile player she is. The 6’0 senior can hit shots from anywhere making it hard to stop her. If you put a smaller defender on her she is an inside presence, a bigger defender she will blow by or shoot over. Lewis is very lengthy disrupting passing lanes.
C: [player_tooltip player_id="153321" first="Kaitlyn" last="Ammons"] - Morgantown
6’3 [player_tooltip player_id="153321" first="Kaitlyn" last="Ammons"] is the perfect fit to round up this lineup. Ammons never tries to force too much on her end finding open teammates, working the ball inside-out. Although, Ammons is a serious threat inside towering over defenders having easier finishes and hits at a very high percentage of those. Defensively, no one wants to drive and shoot over such a tall defender. When they do Ammons presence is always there, always denying shots.
