NTBA State Tourney: 2024 Top Performers

Prep Girls Hoops was in attendance at the NTBA State Tourney this past weekend on the Grand Strand at the Myrtle Beach Sports Center. Seaberry really likes to use the bounce pass (which is a lost art in todays game). Seaberry has the ability to create her own shot and for others on the floor. Seaberry changes speeds and directions to get by defenders and plays the game with quick hands on the defensive end. Ford needs to develop a post move down the road while showing to have soft hands in the paint. Adams is constantly moving on the floor and really understands how to box-out down low and to seal. Adams seems very coachable and really stays involved in the game with her communication on and off the floor with her teammates. Adams used a nice-drop step today to finish around the cup. Penton connected on 5 three pointers according to my stats in a opening round win. Penton seems very comfortable setting up shop in the corners. Locklear sure doesn’t lack any confidence on the floor and it showed this weekend. Locklear feels very comfortable trying to score the ball from all 3 levels on the floor. Locklear really likes the rock in her hands and has the ability to take over a game at times.
