DMV Stock Risers

The 2021 spring/summer season is off and running with recruiting events going full throttle across the country. Many prospects from the D.C., Maryland and Virginia area have showed up and raised their profiles, picking up scholarship offers and interest from schools across the country. Here are some players who have raised their stock during the spring. Tatum Greene Tatum Greene 6'2" | SF St. John's College | 2024 State MD , 2024, Philly Rise Although she doesn’t play club ball with a DMV program, she is Baltimore born and just finished her freshman year at Mcdonogh. Tatum is having as big of a spring as anyone in the area. She has secured a gigantic bag of goods so far and July isn’t even here yet. The versatile 6’1" guard picked up an invitation to the 16U USA Trials, got herself ranked in the ESPN Top 25 for her class and picked offers from Towson, Delaware, Rutgers, Clemson and Michigan State among others. July should be even hotter. Jaelyn Talley Jaelyn Talley 6'0" | SF Paul VI | 2022 State VA , Elevate Elite, 2022 Ms. Talley has been putting in work around these parts for a minute. The six foot forward has post skills and can also take it out on the perimeter and beat you off the dribble. She has picked up offers from Chicago State, UMass Lowell and Elon University among others so far this season. Regina Walton Regina Walton 5'2" | PG Elizabeth Seton | 2022 State MD , 2022, Elevate Elite The standout point guard snagged the Gatorade Player of the Year award and picked up more D1 offers including Bucknell and Austin Peay. She is off to an outstanding start for her last year on the circuit. Look for the sharp shooting guard to grab a few more offers this summer on the Adidas circuit. Jai’den Anderson Jai’den Anderson 5'9" | SG Shabach Christian A | 2023 State MD , 2023, Team Thrill At 6’5" Hawa is literally the biggest thing in Baltimore. So far this spring she has picked up several D1 offers including Rhode Island, Tennessee and West Virginia. She will definitely be an impact player at the next level. Kennedy Umeh Kennedy Umeh 6'4" | C McDonogh | 2024 State MD , 2024, Philly Rise Kennedy is a 6’3" post/forward with loads of potential. She is another McDonogh Eagle that has them poised to lock up the IAAM for a couple of seasons. So far this season she has secured the bag from West Virginia, Northeastern and Boston College. Keep an eye on this one.
