<strong>FIRST TEAM</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="206728" first="Beautiful" last="Waheed"] – 5’11 guard (2023), Wisconsin Playground Club
Waheed (pictured above) was hands-down, bar none the most dynamic player in the tournament. She plays with pace and passion and possesses an insatiable desire to score. If there was a more athletic player in the gym, we certainly didn’t see her. The rising junior from the Milwaukee Academy of Science has elite speed, quickness and lateral movement. Those attributes make her an absolute handful to defend, and they make her an exceptional defender, particularly on the perimeter. Waheed’s game needs seasoning to be sure, and she’d benefit from slowing things down from time to time, but that will come in due course. Her potential, however, is immense.

[player_tooltip player_id="157531" first="Avree" last="Antony"] – 5’10 guard (2023), Let It Rain Black
It took approximately 60 seconds for Avree to stand out when we watched. She is a high-energy, non-stop-motor guard with size, speed, quickness and skill. She has great court vision, can make shots from pretty much anywhere and is athletic enough to beat most players one-on-one. It’s obvious that Antony loves to score, score, score, but she is also a very good distributor who has the ability to make everyone around her better. It’s not surprising that Avree is ranked third in the Prep Girls Hoops Wisconsin Class of 2023. She’s got ‘big-time’ written all over her.

[player_tooltip player_id="266987" first="Shae" last="Kelley"] – 5’9 guard (2024), Wisconsin Impact Kelley
Kelley is a top-30 prospect in Wisconsin who shoots it as well as anyone we’ve seen this spring. Her release is so smooth, and Shae was making long-range shots at a very high percentage this weekend. Kelley is also a terrific passer and a quality ball-handler who impacts the game in a variety of ways. Her fundamentals are just so sound. Shae also has nice length, which she employs with great effectiveness to defend the perimeter. If you are looking for an all-around contributor who is going to bury shots from deep, Shae may be your girl.

[player_tooltip player_id="127625" first="Kaliyah" last="Sain"] – 6’0 guard (2023), Team Iowa Blue Star
It’s no wonder Sain is ranked among the top three rising juniors in Iowa. With exceptional length and athleticism, and that natural ease of movement that most of the great ones have, Kaliyah is going to be very, very good at the next level. Sain can score any which way you’d like. She’s got long-ball range, can slip past all manner of defenders in several different ways, finishes with either hand and appears to think the game of basketball at a high level. She is a very good rebounder, a nice passer and a high-quality shooter. What more could you ask for?

[player_tooltip player_id="209588" first="Gabby" last="Wilke"] – 6’2 forward (2024), Wisconsin Impact Kelley
Wilke is the complete package. She is huge and highly-adept at using her big frame and exceptional strength to overpower defenders on a regular basis. When she gets down low there are very few opponents who can impede her progress. But there’s so much more to Gabby’s game now. Her shooting, ball-handling and overall skillset has grown significantly over the past couple of years. Wilke has exceptional footwork, is a terrific rebounder and, as the daughter of a coach, has excellent fundamentals overall. She can also knock down threes, perform well in four different positions, and plays with a big motor. Add it all up and it’s not difficult to see why she’s top 5 in Wisconsin’s Class of 2024.
