<p class="p1">The new 2025 Watch List has been posted!<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Here are some ball handlers that you should keep an eye on as they begin their high school careers.</p>
<p class="p1"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="285948" first="Sanai" last="Cole"] | Millbrook | PG</strong></p>
<p class="p1">Cole has already been making splashes even in middle school.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She is a dynamic ball handler who knows how to get to the basket, and she finds open teammates for them to score as well.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She does a great job penetrating the defense to create opportunities for herself or others.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Her aggressive defense usually turns into offense with her ability to push it up the court, and she does a great job showing off floaters or making jump stops to put up a shot.</p>
<p class="p1"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="285949" first="Jasmine" last="Nivar"] | Apex Friendship | SG</strong></p>
<p class="p1">Nivar plays on both ends of the court turning defense into offense.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She seems to repetitively pick the pockets of her opponents taking the ball the other direction scoring in transition with ease.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She is an excellent ball handler using moves to get by her opponents and speed to blow by them if she wants.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Even when she isn’t handling the ball, she knows how to find the gaps on defense making effective cuts to score some points.</p>
<p class="p1"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="302244" first="Kayl" last="Starnes"] | Forest Hills | PG</strong></p>
<p class="p1">Starnes is a ball handler who has some speed on her allowing her to push the ball up the court with ease.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She finds her open teammates cutting for the basket, or she can take it all the way herself.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>When running set plays, she shows patience letting the play develop, and she can certainly show off her shot from downtown to get some more points.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>On defense, she is quick to slide into passing lanes, and she hustles back on defense making sure opponents do not score easily in transition.</p>
<p class="p1"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="302220" first="Allie" last="Sykes"] | Western Alamance | CG</strong></p>
<p class="p1">Sykes (pictured above) may be a guard, but she shows no fear battling inside for some rebounds.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She is a floor general knowing how to control the tempo of the game, and she can certainly show off her shot from anywhere on the court.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She has a way of getting by her opponents with ease getting to the basket to score some points, too.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She is a tenacious defender grabbing steals that she pushes up the court in order to score on fast breaks.</p>
