Sky Donaie Sky Donaie 6'1" | SF Oak City Prep | 2025 State NC | Heritage | SF
Donaie stands at 6’1” and she knows how to use this height to cause problems for her opponents. She is a force in the paint showing off drop steps to score as well as spin moves to have her way from the block. While her height allows her to grab rebounds a little easier than others, she still crashes the boards making sure she gets into position. Her length comes in handy when blocking shots, too.
Amanda Mitchell Amanda Mitchell 6'2" | C Willow Springs | 2025 State NC | Willow Springs | PF
Mitchell is a strong presence inside using a variety of post moves to get her points. My favorite that she uses is the power dribble that is so effective moving her defender where she wants them to go. She is aggressive when grabbing rebounds, and she uses offensive rebounds as more opportunities for her to score. She makes nice cuts down to the block moving into the gaps to get an entry pass.
Caroline Swinson Caroline Swinson 5'10" | SF Providence Day | 2025 NC | Providence Day | SF
Swinson knows how to position herself on the block to make her post moves and score. She is tough to defend with the way she uses her footwork to get her points in the paint. She runs the floor well making sure she is available for fast break points. She makes sure she tracks the ball well looking for rebounds.
Jodi King Jodi King 5'10" | PF 1 Of 1 Prep | 2025 State NC | Chestnut Park | PF
King (pictured above) is one of the most impressive posts I have seen in a while, and she still has a whole high school career to show off her talents. She knows exactly how to move her opponents to score her points, and she has an arsenal of moves that she can use to score. She uses this IQ on the other end of the court making sure other posts can’t score against her, and she is sure to grab rebounds for her team.
