Hannah Freeman (FBC Carolina Elite Meadows, SG) showed off her range from deep. She can certainly score inside with the way she drives to the hoop using a nice crossover to throw off her opponents. She found ways to break into the openings of the paint to put up her shot. She has a nice floater that is very difficult to block.
Madison Wieboldt (Carolina All-Stars, PG) is always ready to shoot no matter where she is on the court. She went coast to coast with the ball after grabbing a rebound finding her open teammates along the way. She has a nice fake that she uses to blow by her opponents and pull up for a floater.
Carmen Moore (Carolina All-Stars, PG) hustles back on defense making sure her opponents don’t have easy access to the basket. She does well penetrating the paint as she handles the ball creating space for her teammates. Her timing on defense to set up traps was spot on stopping her opponents from making any moves.
Emi Hutter-Demarco (Carolina All-Stars, PG, pictured above) does a little bit of everything on the court from handling the ball, to posting up on the block, to grabbing rebounds, to driving or shooting for her own points. Her versatility makes it difficult for coaches to find the right one of their players to guard her. She is a tough defender herself grabbing steals to take the other direction.
Jaylyn Twitty (Lady Royals, PG) does well fighting through her opponents to get to the basket showing off a nice finish at the rim. She’s aggressive on defense swatting the ball away from her opponents as they try to dribble by her. She had multiple steals in the second half of a game bringing some life back to her team. Her ability to fill in the lanes created scoring opportunities for her off of these steals. She was flying all over the floor diving for loose balls.
