Jahmaria Miles (Carolina Flames 17U Nike, SG, 2022) finds the paint no matter where she starts with the ball battling through contact to get into position. She uses her length to bring in rebounds, and she immediately runs the floor well getting into position to score. She has a nice spin move that she uses to show off her jump shot pulling up when her defenders think she’s driving all the way to the hoop.
Emi Hutter-Demarco (Carolina All-Stars, PG, 2022, pictured above) flies all over the court on defense jumping out of nowhere it seems to grab steals. She knows exactly where to move with the ball to push it up the court to her teammates cutting down the lanes. She drives the ball aggressively battling through contact to score her points finishing with some old fashioned three point plays.
Zoe Henderson Zoe Henderson 5'11" | SF Northside Christian | 2023 NC (Team Curry 16U UAA, SG, 2023) can do a little bit of everything. She gets her hands involved on defense diving after loose balls and jumping into passing lanes. She can bring the ball up the court, and she can post up on the block making her a threat all over the court. She tracks the ball well even blocking shots for her team.
Jessica Worthey (PSB Elite 16U, SF, 2024) showed her strength when battling to the basket scoring through contact. She can certainly post up underneath the basket, and she can handle the ball from the top of the key. She has a nice power dribble that she uses off offensive rebounds that always seem to turn into points for her whether she gets the bucket or coverts from the free throw line.
Jerin Truesdale Jerin Truesdale 5'9" | SF Myers Park | 2024 State NC (Team Curry 15U UAA, SF, 2024) can play most positions on the court. She handles the ball well pushing it up the court, and she can body someone inside the paint showing off post moves. Her ability to score on all three levels makes it difficult for coaches to figure out players to guard her. She plays smart defense knowing when to use her height and body to throw off her opponent.
