One of my favorite pieces to do on every rankings list is the ’by the numbers’ list. Enjoy!
74 Inches - The tallest player in the class of 2025 as of now is [player_tooltip player_id="310152" first="Talia" last="Vann"]. The Norman power forward is going to be an absolute difference maker this coming season.
65 - The number of players on the list in this first iteration. I have no doubt that it will increase as the years go by.
20 - Letters in the name of the athlete with the longest name on the list. [player_tooltip player_id="315240" first="Phallyn" last="McHenry-Guzman"] is more than just an aweome name, however. She is a tremendous finisher inside and has a sweet jumpshot from the outside.
Seven - EYG 2025 has seven players on the list, the most of any team. The PGH Circuit showed off their talents all over the midwest this summer against some of the best grassroots teams in the country.
26 - There are 26 combo guards on the list, the most of any other position. The versatility of this class is unmatched and they will be incredibly fun to watch over the next four years.
Four - Norman High School - the defending state champions - have four players in the top-15 of the class. The rich keep getting richer! Can’t wait to see them defend the title for not one, not two, not three... but FOUR YEARS!
5’0" - The smallest player on the list is No. 35-ranked [player_tooltip player_id="315203" first="Raegan" last="Bugaj"]. As you would expect of a shorter player, she is lightning fast. She has great handles and vision, is a very, very good point guard and a tremendous shooter from deep!
3.85 - No. 58-ranked [player_tooltip player_id="315239" first="Tristin" last="Pierce"] has a really good GPA to go along with great basketball ability. The MacArthur High point guard is a great shooter with good handles and a very good finish at the rim.
