While there were a lot of upperclassmen that performed well, a handful of super standouts came from the 2025-2026 classes. These are just some of the underclassmen that played well, not all of them.
2026 5’8 CG Brooklynn Haywood Brooklynn Haywood 5'9" | PG Union | 2026 State WA (Middle School) played really well throughout the showcase. Haywood showed off strong ball handling and passing awareness with the ball in her hands. She can create her own shot using spin moves, hesi-go moves and more to get to the basket or hit pull-up jumpers. Off the ball she is a real threat in catch and shoot three pointers.
2025 5’8 G Keiara Curtis Keiara Curtis 5'8" | CG Bellarmine Prep | 2025 State WA (Bellarmine Prep) came back for year two showing flashes of her electric ability on the court. Curtis has some next level speed to blow by defenders and she gets good lift around the basket to finish over taller defenders. She also utilizes the floater with soft touch to score in the paint. She also has real potential as a quality on ball defender. *Feature image
2026 5’4 PG Darissa Romero Ah-Sam (Springfield/OR) came into the the showcase and looked really comfortable on the floor. She can make plays for others or for herself at a high level for her age. Romero Ah-Sam has an advanced skill set at this stage of her career and if she keeps growing and getting stronger, she has a really bright future.
2026 5’6 SG Olivia Collins Olivia Collins 5'9" | CG Sumner | 2026 State WA (Sumner) is a next level athlete already with a serious first step to get by defenders. Collins is best in the transition game and she uses good change of direction moves to attack and finish going to either side. She is also a very good defender moving her feet laterally and turning defense to offense.
