2022
Jade Masogayo-6’2 PF/C (Texas Elite 17U 3SSB) Fossil Ridge HS
Masogoya is “long and athletic” which is THE BASE I use and more importantly, college coaches use as well so what are the intangibles, well with Masogayo one thing is she plays the passing lane well, which is always a plus for me but her timing is good, she understands how to go after the ball off the rim and she showed she could attack the basket and finish strongly after contact
Tia Johnson-5’11 SG/SF (Team Lex Breeze 2022) Brownfield HS
Johnson is one of those players that fall into the “college coaches love big guards that can shoot” and she can yet she also does a good job rebounding on both ends of the court and finishing on putbacks but her pull-up jumper as well as attacking off the dribble is more than solid, she defends well and did a good job seeing the floor
Josephina Bruder-6’2 SG/SF (Texas Platinum 17U Bates) Plano HS
Bruder rebounded strongly to start things off and her hands just stood out as deflected passes and came up with steals yet she also moves her feet well on defense and applied good pressure, which played a part in her getting the steals but she also knocks down jumpers, with a hand in her face as well as took defenders to the basket from the wing
Griffin Greenwood-5’10 PF (P.L.U.T.O. Prospects 17U) Lewis-Palmer HS CO
Greenwood attacks with power and applies that same power on putbacks which placed in her some “and one” opportunities but she rebounded well on both ends, battled for loose balls, not just off the rim but on the floor and her interior defense against taller players had me smile as you can’t teach desire yet the defense also looked good outside the paint
2023
Elle Papahronis Elle Papahronis 5'11" | SF Edmond North | 2023 State OK -6’0 SG/SF (Team Trae Young 3SSB) Edmond North HS OK
Papahronis is “long and athletic” see above, but her pull-up jumper was one of the best I saw all of the event and she did it multiple ways like creating her shot or pulling up in transition yet she also attacked and finished, after contact, defended well and rebounded on both ends of the court
Tiani Ellison Tiani Ellison 6'1" | C Silo | 2023 State OK -6’0 PF (Team Trae Young 3SSB) Silo OK
Ellison is also “long and athletic” yet her ability to overpower defenders was nice because she did it effortlessly and stayed under control yet her variety of moves around the basket got her buckets, yet she too has a nice pull-up jumper and showed she could attack off the dribble, with either hand
Antonia Papahronis-6’1 PG/SG (Team Trae Young 3SSB) Edmond North HS OK
Papahronis might be a twin, IDK yet drumroll please, she’s “long and athletic” and rebounded fiercely and on the offensive boards, she got putbacks galore by not being “outworked” however she put it on the floor to score several times and did a good job defending both inside and outside the paint
