It was your skill, talent, and hard work that got you noticed. To all of the players who are being recognized – and those that haven’t been just yet – keep working hard and doing your best and the recognition will come from scouts like me and especially from college coaches.
Aliyah Duval | 5-8 PG | Moore, OK | 2026 | @AliyahDuval
I made a note while watching Aliyah play that she is going to be a lot taller than she is right now as an eighth-grader. It’s just a hunch, but with her length and the size of her feet, call it “scout’s intuition,” I guess. Honestly, if she stayed at 5’8″ she is still a great size for a point guard. But, with her skill handling the ball and her ability to fill it up from deep, I can’t imagine what kind of player she could end up being at 6’0″ or so. She is a very good defender and her length is a problem for other guards as she steps out to block their mid-range shots or shots from behind the arc. She is fast and strong and gets to the rim a lot. Duval is going to be one to watch and there is a star beside her name in my notes. I can’t wait to see where she ends up by the time 2026 rolls around.
Natalie Moore | 5-10 SF | Midwest City, OK | 2026 | @buggmoore_2026
Natalie “Bugg” Moore is a lot of fun to watch. She has tremendous size for a small forward, especially an eighth-grade small forward. With her shooting ability, if she were to move to the four as she ages, she is going to be absolutely deadly; a hybrid player in the Satou Sabaly mold. Bugg can fill it up from deep. She has a pretty jumper with a nice high release. As the day went on at “The Hive,” Bugg got more and more comfortable and not only scored a lot of points, she began defending at a really high level. She moves very well and can guard basically any position on the floor. Not only does she swat shots, she just reaches up and grabs the shot and takes it. Once the ball is in her hand, she has the ability to move down the court with good handles, vision, and confidence. Bugg is definitely one you are going to want to keep an eye on.
Kailynne Parker | 5-6 PG | Sapulpa, OK | 2026 | @KailynneParker
Clearly, there is something in the water out in Sapulpa. There is a long line of really, really good guards that have come through there, and pretty soon “Kay Kay” will be one of them. She goes hard to the rim and finishes very strong, often picking up the contact in the process. As I’ve said before, sometimes I make one note in my notebook and that is simply the word “baller.” Though, now that I think about it, I should probably make a little better notes for myself. The point is, as soon as you see Parker on the floor, you know that this kid can play some ball. The Super-16 All-Star is a strong player with a knack for making the right basketball play. It is clear that she has already played a lot of ball at a high level and has a head for the game. The future is bright for Kay Kay and the future is especially bright for Sapulpa!
Kailee Seaba | 5-9 F | Oologah, OK | 2026 | @KaileeSeaba
I’m starting to get the feeling that much like the class of 2025 this class of 2026 may be absolutely loaded. Kailee is a tall, long and strong forward who can play the three or four – or anywhere that she is needed probably. She isn’t your typical forward who might be limited by a lack of handles or speed, despite her size. She looks taller than 5’9″ to me already and as time goes on, she could prove to be seriously dangerous as a forward for Oologah. Seaba is very fun to watch, very animated, and talkative. She looks like she is having a lot of fun – which I have mentioned before is very important for me to see – and it rubs off on her teammates. In a situation where her team was thrown together on the spot, her personality really seemed to help everyone settle down and do some work. Probably the same thing that she will be doing at Oologah in the very near future.
Maddi Stewart | 5-8 SG | Claremore, OK | 2026 | @MaddiStewart10
Maddi is scary good, y’all. She can fill it up from deep. She can also play very well under the basket. She is tough and strong and most of all she is extremely persistent. She WANTS those buckets underneath. She fights hard, gets loads of rebounds, and is an extremely well-rounded player. Stewart is a player that others rally around and looks to be a clear leader. She is a competitor who even in a “pick-up game” type of environment went hard for all four games and it shows on the scoresheet. Another player who scored well over 30 points in three games, Stewart was on fire from the outset. She can defend every position on the floor with her size and speed and is going to be a big star for Claremore come next season. The future is very bright for some of the smaller schools around the state of Oklahoma based on what I saw on Saturday.
