Legacy Early College vs San Jose Prep Insider Exposure Recap

It was a battle from start to finish between Legacy Early College (S.C.) and San Jose Prep (F.L.).  The court was loaded with athletes that will definitely have the opportunity to play at the next level. It was big play after big play on both ends of the floor. However, Legacy Early College came away with the 48-31 victory over San Jose Prep. Has the ability to blow by her defenders and score at the rim. The play of the night was her crossover step-back 3 ball which sent the gym in an uproar. High IQ guard that uses her quickness to her advantage. Should be on a lot of peoples radars this season. She played point guard most of the night and showed her court vision with some spectacular passes. Has the ability to attack the basket and finish through contact. Also can play defense 94ft. A young player that gets better every time she touches the court. Has the college-ready size of a guard and can shoot lights out from deep. Showed her ability to create her own shot and also create match-up problems for smaller guards. Attacks the basket hard from all angles and can finish through contact. Looking for her to have a breakout senior season. Her ability to see the floor averaging 3.7 assists and 11.3 ppg. She is a game-changer for the Lady Lions. Has great ball-handling ability and creates match-up problems as she can play all 5 positions. It was hard to believe she is only a sophomore as her game speaks college ready. Showed she can score from anywhere on the court. A young player that will definitely be playing at the next level. Runs rim to rim. Great court vision from the block. Always working to get her shot and crashes the boards hard in traffic. [player_tooltip player_id="124110" first="Tinsley" last="Franklin"] I 5’9 I Combo I 2023 I Legacy Early College Franklin was the x-factor on the court. She showed her ability to shoot the 3 ball and get to the rim. Always using what the defense gives her. Great at reading screens and making her defenders guess her next move. High IQ guard that is going to make noise at the next level. Hard to believe Brown is only a freshman. Knows how to use her body to seal her opponents. Showed her ability to stay in attack mode the whole game. Has the size and ability to play inside/out. Looking for her to be on a lot of scouting reports this season.
