Young Standouts at N FL Hoop Group Live Exposure II

The live period tipped off this weekend, and while many First Coast programs traveled across the country to compete in major events, several local teams remained in the area to participate in the North Florida Hoop Group Live Exposure tournament. The event provided an opportunity for players to continue to build momentum heading into the heart of the grassroots season. A number of prospects stood out with their production, energy, and ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor.    [player_tooltip player_id='1858219' first='Reese' last='Todd'] showed intriguing size and quickness. She used her frame effectively around the basket, handled contact well, and was capable of putting the ball on the floor and attacking the rim. Her top-of-the-key jumper and midrange shot highlighted her versatility as a scorer. Defensively, she altered shots and recorded blocks in the paint. Todd could be a sleeper in a loaded 2028 class.     [player_tooltip player_id='1819500' first='Javiona' last='Roberson'] displayed solid ball-handling ability and generally made good decisions with the basketball. Roberson showed quickness and elusiveness. Her ability to turn the corner on defenders caused problems all game. As a point guard, Roberson showed flashes of being able to control the tempo, though continuing to involve teammates more consistently will help elevate her game and further impact the team.     [player_tooltip player_id='1858262' first='Jodana' last='Schreiner'] contributed with a strong defensive effort, including drawing a charge and rebounding effectively. Schreiner showed that she is a glue player who will do anything to help her team win. The sophomore forward ran well in transition and made some nice passes to teammates cutting to the basket. Offensively, Schreiner played within the flow and was also impressive with her picks and ball movement     [player_tooltip player_id='1318420' first='Zamora' last='Williams'] was dominant on the defensive end with several "get that out of here" blocked shots. Williams is long and athletic and had the opposition thinking twice about driving into the paint. Williams's offensive game looked polished, and her versatility was noticeable. She connected on a midrange jumper and several inside hook shots, etc. Williams displayed good footwork in the paint, and her offensive game continues to evolve. Williams is steadily increasing her stock in the 2029 class. Williams brings multiple skills to the court and is steadily increasing her stock in the 2029 class.       [player_tooltip player_id='1245631' first='Kennedy' last='Jones'] got downhill to the rim, and more importantly, she finished when she got there. A few weeks ago, Jones showed her three-point range and efficiency. This week, she showed the versatility to put the ball down and finish at the rim against taller players. Jones showed quickness and versatility in her game. Defensively, she was impressive at the top of the press, getting steals and forcing turnovers.     Samireyah Petway stood out with her pace in the open floor, pushing the ball well on the fast break and delivering a nice no-look pass in transition. She ran the floor efficiently and made strong decisions with the basketball, and showed good overall court awareness.  Petway also impressed with her ability to get to the rim and score, and also operate as a playmaker - dishing the ball to her teammates for scoring opportunities.
