There was a lot of good basketball all over the state on Friday night. These included solid team outings and excellent player performances. Amidst all this basketball, I found 20 players that had a fantastic Friday night.
Here they are:

Baker’s Lowell squad had a solid 49-40 win over Caledonia. She led the way with 25 electric points.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="277651" first="Amanda" last="Barber"] (2022, CG, Gobles)</strong>
Barber was critical in a team win over Fennville. Barber filled the stat sheet with 18 points, 6 steals, and 3 assists.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147718" first="Rakiyah" last="Beal"] (2022, SF, Hamtramck)</strong>
Beal is having a great start to the season. She went off for 29 points, grabbed 10 boards, and had 12 steals in a win over Old Redford.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="253597" first="Ashley" last="Bower"] (2022, SG, Portland)</strong>
Bower led her team to a 66-27 win. She once again spearheaded the offensive attack by scoring 20 points in the game.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="190706" first="Mary" last="Copple"] (2023, PG, Brighton)</strong>
Consider me a member of the Copple Fan Club. In a solid team win, she had 18 points, 8 steals, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="244266" first="Indya" last="Davis"] (2024, PG, West Bloomfield)</strong>
Davis had 16 points in a win over South Lyon East. Her game is so well rounded and her basketball IQ is through the roof.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="277655" first="Sarah" last="Ebel"] (2022, PF, Brighton)</strong>
Ebel was terrific in a 58-32 win against Farmington Hills Mercy. She finished the game with 19 points.
<strong>Macey Laubach (2022, PF, Edwardsburg)</strong>
Laubach is making her name a regular thing is these articles. She scored 24 points in a huge win over Allegan.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="230802" first="Sela" last="Lefler"] (2023, PG, North Farmington)</strong>
Lefler’s team suffered a tough 51-44 loss to Waterford Kettering. Despite the loss, she was very impressive with 24 points and 3 assists.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="189315" first="Megan" last="Leslie"] (2023, SG, Greenville)</strong>
Leslie was nearly unstoppable in a 59-57 win over Belding. She lit the net on fire with her jumper, tallying 26 points for the game.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147754" first="Gabrielle" last="Lutchka"] (2022, SF, Grass Lake)</strong>
Lutchka had an extremely impressive night, leading Grass Lake to a 62-24 win over Napolean. She scorched the nets with 27 points, snagged 5 steals, and dished out 3 assists.

Another win, and another great game by Meredith. On Friday night, she scored 16 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, and swiped the ball 7 times for 7 steals.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="189298" first="Alexcis" last="Parker"] (2023, PG, Flint Powers)</strong>
Parker was a key piece of her team’s 69-50 victory over Arthur Hill. She scored at a high clip, finishing with 20, but also initiated the offense with ease.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="227582" first="Katie" last="Schaible"] (2022, PG, Edwardsburg)</strong>
Schaible was tremendous in a win over Allegan. She was terrific from behind the arc, hitting 6 three pointers. Schaible had 20 points on the night.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="244230" first="Brook" last="Simpson"] (2024, SG, Bedlding)</strong>
Simpson continues to prove that she’s an elite prospect in the midwest, and probably beyond. She led her team with 26 points in a tough 2 point loss.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147746" first="Lauren" last="Sollom"] (2022, PF, Hartland)</strong>
Sollom led her Hartland team to a dominating victory over Saginaw Heritage. She scored 15 points and grabbed 9 boards in the contest.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="189284" first="Armoni" last="Strozier"] (2023, PF, Flint Carman-Ainsworth)</strong>
Strozier was a beast in a 77-31 victory over Lansing Waverly. She had 16 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="244317" first="Bri" last="Thomas"] (2024, CG, Trenton)</strong>
Thomas showed how well rounded her game is. She had 19 points, 5 steals, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds. Thomas shot the lights out from behind the arc.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="189278" first="Janae" last="Tyler"] (2023, C, Holt)</strong>
Tyler made a huge statement last night in a 62-43 over Grand Ledge. She went off for 21 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147727" first="Nevaeh" last="Williams"] (2022, CG, Mt. Clemens)</strong>
Williams is one of the most explosive scorers in Michigan and it showed in a 75-6 win over Bradford. Williams lit up the stat sheet with 44 points, 10 steals, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.
