Shimiya Taylor | Parkwood | G | 2022
8 points // 13 rebounds // 2 assists // 2 steals
Taylor contributed in all areas, especially crashing the boards for some rebounds. Her ability to push the ball up the court right away served her team well. She knew exactly where to go with the ball in transition before her opponents realized she had the rebound. She even scored herself knocking them down from deep on multiple occasions, especially when her team needed the boost.
Madison Tullock | Parkwood | G | 2023
8 points // 9 rebounds
Tullock was constantly grabbing rebounds for her team on both ends of the court no matter who was trying to get them around her. She did well flashing in the paint for some open looks for her points, too, and she was constantly bumping cutters on defense who thought they could score in the paint.
Emma Pendleton | Reagan | PF | 2023
6 points // 10 rebounds // 1 steal
Pendleton stands at 6’2” and uses every bit of that to cause problems for her opponents in the paint whether she is grabbing rebounds or moving them out of her way as she gets to the basket. Her power dribbles certainly hold a lot of power to get the position she wants.
Maliyah Pellum | North Meck | SF | 2023
2 points // 7 rebounds // 1 assist // 5 steals
Pellum was a defensive nightmare coming out of nowhere to grab rebounds on both ends of the court. She knew how to score off of offensive rebounds, too. She was grabbing steals, and she knew exactly where to go with the outlet pass to get the fast break going.
