<p class="p1">The Diamonds Classic was held at Legion Collegiate Academy on Saturday displaying some great talent from North and South Carolina.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>We have already looked at the players of the game that I identified, but these scorers certainly deserve a shout out, too.</p>
<p class="p1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="124091" first="McCall" last="King"] | Christ Church Episcopal | G | 2022</b></p>
<p class="p1">18 points // 7 rebounds // 2 assists // 1 steal</p>
<p class="p1">King showed off her range shooting from deep.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She sees the floor well finding her open teammates underneath the basket.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She has a lot of strength getting inside to grab some rebounds, especially late in the game when her opponent was trying hard to get second chances.</p>
<p class="p1"><b>Laila Anderson | The Burlington School | G | 2022</b></p>
<p class="p1">17 points // 8 rebounds // 1 assist // 3 steals</p>
<p class="p1">Anderson (pictured above) showed off her shot from deep, and she didn’t hesitate to get inside to grab some rebounds.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She slid into passing lanes to grab steals. She controlled the tempo of the game pushing the ball up the court or settled it back to start an offensive play.</p>
<p class="p1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="285932" first="Jada" last="Brigman"] | Olympic | SF | 2022</b></p>
<p class="p1">16 points // 3 rebounds // 2 assists // 2 blocks</p>
<p class="p1">Brigman made her presence known as soon as she stepped on the court blocking shots and going up high for some rebounds.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Her stroke from behind the arc was on display, too, and she was certainly the main energy driver giving her team some life in a tough battle.</p>
<p class="p1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="253889" first="Anastasia" last="Sinclair"] | South Meck | G | 2023</b></p>
<p class="p1">15 points // 4 rebounds // 3 assists // 2 steals</p>
<p class="p1">Sinclair does well anticipating passes constantly deflecting them out of bounds and grabbing steals.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She pushes the ball up the court with speed, and she does a great job finding open teammates underneath the basket to get some points.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She can take it all the way to the hoop, and she moves even without the ball to find the openings and score.</p>
<p class="p1"><b>Maggie Houpt | South Meck | G | 2023</b></p>
<p class="p1">15 points // 5 rebounds // 1 assist // 1 block</p>
<p class="p1">Houpt was on fire knocking down four three pointers from deep.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She did well crashing the boards for rebounds, and she battled through contact to score some points by the basket.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She even had a nice block showing off her versatility.</p>

<p class="p1">Taylor showed off her range knocking down three three-pointers in the first half to try to give her team some life.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She crashed the boards to grab rebounds, and she knew how to cause some problems on defense deflecting passes and grabbing steals.</p>
<p class="p1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="185416" first="Serenity" last="Woods"] | Legion Collegiate Academy | G | 2025</b></p>
<p class="p1">14 points // 2 rebounds // 1 steal // 1 block</p>
<p class="p1">Woods is already a leader for her team controlling the tempo of the game and directing her teammates where to go on offense.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She drove hard into the paint and was able to convert points well from the free throw line.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Look to see her continue to be a big contributor the rest of her high school career.</p>

<p class="p1">Long was scoring on multiple levels driving hard to the basket through contact or stepping back for her jump shot.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She anticipated what her opponents would do and grabbed the steals before they got a play going.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She’s certainly been an asset to this team in her young high school career.</p>
