Frederick Douglass | 2025
State
KY
– ’25 5’7″/SG – Frederick Douglas
Rhodes made 40% from three-point range and finished with 10 points in a losing effort, She has a beautiful shooting form with a high release and lots of lift from the legs that allow her to shoot the ball from dep beyond the line. She can also handle the ball and is a good passer.
Emma Barnett Emma Barnett 6'2" | PF Mercy | 2023 State KY – ’23 6’2″/C – Mercy Academy
Barnett is a great prospect as a Stretch player at the 3, 4, or 5. She is averaging 12 points, 9 rebounds, and making 38% of her three-point shots through five games and at 6’1″ she would have no problem getting her shot off against most opponents. She can shoot the three in transition or out of the set offense.
In addition to her perimeter game, she can also play in the interior as a rebounder. With her back to the basket, she has a great baby hook and is a good inside-out passer.
Catie Church – ’23 5’6″/CG – Green County
Church had the best game of her season so far when I was there scoring 17 points, shooting 2 of 3 (66%) from three, and getting the shooters roll to make all 5 Free Throws attempted in the game. She scores running the floor, moving without the ball on a flex cut to the rim and posting up for a seal, and score through contact for the And One.
She was also effective on defense especially in the press stealing a pass, forcing a turnover and pushes tempo on both sides of the ball.
Myah Koralia – ’25 5’7″/SG – Ballard
Koralia made 3 of 5 three-pointers on the night, one from the corner in transition and another on the win off a kick-out pass, and she was fouled during one of the misses. She then went to the line to make all 3 free throws with a little use of the shooter’s roll.
If her name sounds familiar it may be due to Sunday’s article which features her older sister and teammate Ella, among others.
Summer Scott – ’22 5’5″/CG – Green County
Scott was excellent at handling the ball late for her team in the Four Corners Delay Offense to secure the victory for the Dragons. Before that, she was solid defensively and made a variety of shots: a wing three, an 8 to 10-foot floater, a running hook, and made crisp passes facilitating the offense.
Keke Adams – ’24 5’8″/SG – Marion County
Adams shoots the three primarily from the wing and corners and scored a crucial 12 points for her team in a losing effort. She runs the floor, plays good defense, and made 50% (3 of 6) of her threes on the night I saw her play but has not been as hot since.
Deonte Nae Neal – ’22 – 5’4″/CG – Iroquois
At the point in the season when I saw her play Neal was averaging a little more than 29 points per game, but it hasn’t been against great competition. She tends to score from the Wing or off a layup in transition. She runs the Point fr the Lady Raiders but I wouldn’t call her a Point Guard, just the best option her team has.
