Macy Brown Macy Brown 5'11" | PG East Grand Rapids | 2023 State MI (2023, PG, East Grand Rapids)
Brown announced her commitment to the University of Michigan.
Brown is ranked as the number 4 overall prospect in the class of 2023 by Prep Girls Hoops Michigan. She is ranked as the top point guard in the state. Brown has one of the best pure jumpers in the midwest, and probably beyond that. We were able to see her elite skill set first hand at the Prep Hoops Michigan Top 250 where she put on a show. Brown has developed a reputation as a shooter, but don’t be fooled, because she can also very easily put the ball on the floor and go off the bounce. She’s an efficient passer that makes the correct reads on the defense and gets the ball where it needs to be. Brown is a well rounded player with a high basketball IQ. The fit seems right for Brown to have a very successful basketball career at the University of Michigan.
Ella Burger Ella Burger SG Macomb Dakota | 2022 State MI (2022, SG, Macomb Dakota)
Burger will continue her basketball career at Rochester University.
Burger is ranked as the number 33 prospect overall by Prep Girls Hoops Michigan in the class of 2022. This puts her in as the 5th ranked shooting guard in the senior class. Burger is a solid leader and the type of player and person that teammates will want to follow. We saw very clearly this summer with the Tri-County Hoopers, that she can get buckets in bunches. So far this high school season, Burger has continued to show her offensive prowess putting up multiple 20 plus point games. She is steadily improving on the defensive end as well. She’s shown improvement in her ability to pressure the ball and create turnovers. Burger even had a 6 steal high school game recently. She will be a very solid addition to the Rochester University program.
