Countless travel teams came from across the country to compete April 19-21st in this NCAA Live-Period event. S-40, P-24, and independent circuit travel teams competed in front of 300+ D1, D2, and D3 college coaches across 28 courts at the Spooky Nook Sports Championship Mill facility. Here are some of the 2025 prospects who impressed me as I watched their games courtside last weekend.
Christina Gibson Christina Gibson 5’4″ | CG South Lake | 2025 State MI is a shifty guard from FVV Hype-Brian who impressed me at The Clash. I had the chance to see Christina play for South Lake at the Hardwood Classic last December where she wowed with her outside shooting off the dribble and advanced ball handling moves. At The Clash, she elevated and finished into contact, then knifed through the defense to score using a pro hop with a right handed finish off the glass. Christina accelerates and glides through the defense like everyone is moving in slow motion. She finishes equally well with her right and can transfer the ball effectively without slowing down. Christina deflected a pass out of bounds and showed her toughness by playing through an injury to her right hand. (MOI, Sports Medicine)
Amal Younes Amal Younes 5’6″ | PG Walled Lake Northern | 2025 State MI played effectively for Mystics National 2025 on both ends of the floor at The Clash. She worked hard on defense, tying up the ball on a drive and blocking a shot. Amal brought her offensive ‘A’ game with her to Ohio. She buried a corner 3, wing 3 off the catch, and used a smooth behind the back snap step back dribble to drill a deep 3 up top. Amal kept her eyes up on a drive to deliver a bounce pass in traffic and knocked down multiple free throws. (MOI, Undecided)
Hannah Gillette Hannah Gillette 5’6″ | CG Northview Highschool | 2025 State MI excelled on both ends for Michigan Drive Premier 2025-Piaz at The Clash. She caught a pass in the paint and executed a quick forward pivot to score around her defender. Hannah knocked down a mid-range jumper and was a defensive asset for her team. She maintains a strong, balanced defensive stance and demonstrates off-ball awareness. One of Hannah’s best plays was when she secured a defensive rebound, drove full court to the paint into a jump stop, then combined a shot-fake and pivot to score a contested bucket.

Isabella Nooe Isabella Nooe 5’4″ | PG South Lyon | 2025 State MI came up clutch for her Mystics Black 2025 team in a tight game at The Clash. Izzy knocked down a wing 3 off the catch late and would have an opportunity to deliver the knockout punch. With seconds remaining, she missed her first attempt, but Tracy Ludescher secured the board and quickly dished an outlet pass to Izzy spotting up on the wing. Izzy pulled the trigger off the catch with a balanced, quick-release, and confident follow through. When I saw the focus and determination on her face, I knew the shot was true. Her 3-pointer with 1 second remaining proved to be a game winner.

Isabella Cucuta
Isabella Cucuta
Isabela Cucuta (5’10, CG, 2026, CT) was an impressively dynamic guard prospect playing up for IBELIEVE Elite-Connecticut 17u at The Clash. Her length and multitude of ball handling moves caused challenges for her defenders. She used smooth handles to create separation off the dribble and knocked down a step back jumper and mid-range shot off the dribble. Isabela buried a 3 from up top off the dribble with a quick release and balanced platform. She has length and quickness that combined with her multi-level scoring abilities makes her an excellent prospect as a guard.
Grace O’Sullivan was an impressive guard/wing prospect for MCW Starz 2025-P24 at The Clash. She used her length and strength to secure rebounds on both ends, force turnovers pressuring the ball, and demonstrated her multi-level scoring knocking down 3’s outside with strong finishes at the rim. One of her most impressive plays was when she scored through a foul with her left hand at the rim.
