Athens Drive
Layla Forte (CG, 2023) shows off some nice jump shots, especially in transition not allowing her opponents to set up the right defense. She runs the floor well being ready for the entry pass for a bucket on a fast break even battling through contact. She anticipates passes well grabbing steals to take the other direction herself. She does a great job finding her open teammates inside for the nice pass and bucket. Her ability to score from deep makes her a threat all over the court.
Paris Webster (CG, 2023) is effective handling the ball. She finds ways to make plays even when things seemed to be broken down. Her vision of the court always seems to be a step ahead even when it comes to making passes to a teammate that could make the better pass inside. She knows how to draw defenders towards her opening up the court for her teammates. She isn’t shy about picking the pocket of opposing guards either.
Ramatou Diabi (PF, 2023) did well sliding into the openings and shifting the defense to make it easier for her teammates to drive the ball. She is constantly flashing in and out of the paint. Even these drives turned into points for her as she was open for the jumper that she can certainly drain. She can seal off her opponents as she faces the basket ready to catch the lob and lay the ball in.
Markayla Massenburg (SF, 2022) shows off her midrange jump shot as she finds the gaps in the opponents’ defense. She’s quick with her decisions inside making some power dribbles to turn and bank her shot off the glass for some points. She uses her height to cause problems on defense keeping her opponent squarely in front of her preventing them from getting any easy points near the hoop.

Rhian Lawrence (pictured above, PG, 2023) is leading the team in points, steals, and assists doing everything she can on both ends of the court. She navigates the court well with the ball drawing her opponents towards her just in time to make the dish to her teammate for the shot. She pushes the ball up the court knowing exactly how to score in transition whether she is driving to the hoop, making a pass, or setting someone up for a nice jump shot. She can definitely drain it from deep on her own, too.
Ava Palmgren (G, 2023) handles the ball efficiently bringing it up the court with speed. These occurrences are usually preceded by steals that she grabs out of the hands of her opponents to regain the possession. She does well finding her open teammates no matter where they are on the court, and she is speedy when it comes to flashing inside to grab a rebound.
Olivia Young (SF, 2023) has been knocking down shots from deep making her name known. Her length is an asset on her team’s press knocking the ball away slowing down their offense. She can certainly clog the paint blocking shots from anyone who tries to come near her.
Isa Roman Isa Roman 5'8" | CG Grace Christian Sanford | 2025 State NC (CG, 2024) does an excellent job controlling the tempo for her team. She pushed the ball up the court when she knew she had her teammates available, and she slowed things down to set up a play at the perfect times. She makes nice passes inside to her post player teammates getting them involved in the offense.
