Nacoya Blocton Nacoya Blocton 6'0" | PF Ridgeview | 2025 State FL | Ridgeview | ’25
Nacoya is a big guard and the little sister of Nia Blocton Nia Blocton 6'0" | PF Ridgeview | 2024 State FL . Together they are a dynamic duo and form a great inside/out threat on the court. Nacoya’s game is very versatile as she can also play down low on the post. She is having a great freshman season and shows up in multiple areas on the stat sheet. She had 4 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal against Bolles, 10 points, 10 points, 2 assists and 3 steals against Mandarin, and 11 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 steals against Palatka. She has the potential to be a really good player if she continues to develop her game.
Nia Blocton Nia Blocton 6'0" | PF Ridgeview | 2024 State FL | Ridgeview | ’24
Nia continued her stellar play and put up monster numbers in week 4 of the season. She has shown great footwork around the basket and is virtually unguardable in the post. She has started to expand her game as she is taking more mid-range jump shots this season. Nia’s defense is also really good for a young player. She is a great rebounder and “walls up” on defense better than anyone else in the area, a skill that most defenders don’t learn until they get in college. She had 18 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists and 6 steals against Bolles, 22 points, 16 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals against Mandarin, and 16 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals against Palatka this week.
A’ja Pollard | Bartram Trail | ’23
A’ja is a versatile player that plays the 1-3 positions for her team. She uses her athleticism well to finish around the basket and can score on all three levels. She has stepped up big in her junior season, especially in the scoring column as she leads her team. A’ja fills up the stat sheet on both ends of the floor. In week 4 she had 10 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist against Sandalwood, 20 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and 6 steals against St. Augustine, and 18 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal against San Jose Prep.
Taliah Scott Taliah Scott 5'8" | SG St. John's Country Day | 2023 State #31 Nation FL | St. Johns Country Day | ’23
Taliah was at it again this week putting up unreal numbers in week 4 of the season. She is known for her scoring ability but she is a very good defender and usually guards the opposing team’s best perimeter player. She had 42 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 8 steals against the Florida School for the Death and Blind and 40 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals against Middleburg. She has 280 points thru 8 games and is averaging 35 points, 4.6 assists, 6,4 rebounds, and 5.9 steals.
Riley Talbert Riley Talbert 5'9" | SG Bishop Kenny HS | 2024 State FL | Bishop Kenny | ’24
Riley has proved to be a valuable addition this year for Bishop Kenny. She can play both guard positions and is a very efficient scorer and a tough defender. She scored in double digits in all three games against Jackson, Ribault, and Riverside (formerly Lee) in week 4, helping her team to a 3-0 record for the week.
Nykeria Thomas Nykeria Thomas 5'10" | CG Mandarin | 2024 State FL | Mandarin | ’24
Nykeria is a smooth combo guard that can score on all three levels. She led her team in two wins during week 4 with 18 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks against Ridgeview and 18 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals against Stanton. Her team remains undefeated at 7-0 early on in the season and she is averaging 14.3 points, 4.6 assists, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.7 steals.
