The fourth week of 2022 (January 23-29) in prep girls hoops is in the books. This will be the last week for the Player of the Week. Below is a look at players that were nominated for Player of the Week via Twitter or Instagram. The poll is open through 11:59pm ET on Wednesday (2/2), and you can vote once per hour using the poll at the bottom of this article. Here are the nominees: Kamryn Bullock Kamryn Bullock 5'10" | SF East River | 2022 State FL | East River Kamryn has helped lead her team to 16 straight wins after losing the first game of the season. She had 30 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists on 13 for 18 shooting vs Melbourne this week. In their other game of the week, Kamryn put up 36 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 steals on 6-10 shooting from deep vs Edgewater. East River faces Edgewater (again) tonight in their first district matchup. Jayden Terry Jayden Terry 5'8" | CG GHS - Gainesville | 2025 State FL | The Rock The Freshman scored 62 points and pulled down 24 boards in 3 games this week vs Central Pointe, Gainesville, and Columbia in a 2-1 week. She's a young player to keep an eye on as her career progresses! Katie Ambrose Katie Ambrose 5'5" | PG Gulf Coast | 2022 State FL | Gulf Coast Katie had 19 assists in two wins this week to go with 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 steals. The #2 seed Gulf Coast will play the winner of Venice/Lehigh on Wednesday. London Jenkins | Riverside London had 21 points, 6 assists, and 2 steals against Oakleaf. She then had 27 points, 7 assists, and 5 steals against First Coast. Riverside will play ED White tomorrow for their first round matchup in districts. Madison Aguilera Madison Aguilera 5'3" | PG Gulliver Prep | 2023 State FL | Gulliver Prep Madison made a school-record 9 three’s against North Broward Prep on her way to a 35 point win that included 6 assists. She also had games of 19 points and a double double of 23 points/10 assists during the 3-0 week for Gulliver Prep. Madi is one of the newest members to join the 1k point club, too! They are the #2 seed in their district with a game on Wednesday against the winner of Killian/Key West. Phillicia Jackson Phillicia Jackson SG Clearwater | 2022 State FL | Clearwater Phillicia had a huge double double of 17 points, 14 rebounds, and 4 blocks in the PCAC Championship that Clearwater has now won three years in a row. Clearwater is the #1 seed in their district with a matchup coming on Wednesday against the winner of Osceola/Hollins.
