The previous weekend was an active one for the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit as events took place in a number of states – including Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Wisconsin, Texas, Washington state and Alabama.

That Alabama event was the Roll Tide Rumble and the site for said event was Guntersville. A town known for its picturesque geography was also known throughout Yellowhammer State girls basketball circles this past season for its hoops team defeating Moody for the 5A state championship.

We at Prep Girls Hoops were on site in Alabama's Lake City for both days of this year's event. Following an exciting first day of play, we turn our attention to those veteran forwards and centers who brought their balling shoes with them on Roll Tide Rumble Sunday.

Martins plays up in class as a 2028 on the 17U [program_tooltip program_id='1214122' first='White' last='Tigers Elite'] assembling. The offensive onslaught her team had against Bars Elite 17U ensured Martins and company would return to Florida with an unblemished Roll Tide Rumble record. Martins is listed as a center but one would mistake her for a point guard given her solid ball handling capabilities. Her ability to run the floor efficiently comes in very useful particularly when getting out in transition for fastbreak layups. Martins was part of a Central Pointe Christian assembling that finished with a 22-6 record this past season.

What makes Florida such a hub of talent is the number of prospects that have international experience. Brazil's very own Dagba thrives in her role as a wing standing at a tall 6-foot-2. The height she brings to a team is complimented by her length. Back in December, Dagba secured a Division I offer from Western Kentucky. Dagba is another from the Central Pointe Christian program and was one of six juniors on its 2025-26 roster. While playing at the wing translates to success at the three, a team can also garner plenty of worthwhile minutes from Dagba at the four.

Praščević would compete in 22 games this past season as a junior with Central Pointe Christian. She is another that brings plenty of international experience as she once wore the Montenegro uniform on its U16 team. Praščević is an efficient attacker of the rim and can match an opposing ball carrier step for step and move for move. Efficiency in running the floor is another one of Praščević's strengths. As a forward, she will find herself on the receiving and of pick and roll plays and also thrives as a transition playmaker. Opposing defenses had a hard time contending with her all weekend and was a major factor in WT Elite's 4-0 weekend in Alabama.

Even though much of Roll Tide Rumble weekend did not unfold as planned for Bars Elite 17U, Stampley was an important catalyst to ensure her squad finished its Guntersville getaway with a victory at the expense of Truth Athletic Club 17U. Stampley stands at a tall 5-foot-10 and is a multi-sport athlete who also excels as a volleyball standout to go alongside her basketball accolades. Stampley has played at the varsity level since she was an eighth grader. She was part of a 7A Dothan team that concluded its 2025-26 campaign with a stellar record of 22-7. Stampley was one of seven juniors on that Wolves assembling.

Billings was part of a 3A Clements team that managed to put together a 20-win season in 2025-26. One of many threes, fours and fives that shined on Sunday, Billings displays how fearless she is as she is willing to play in the low post even against a number of defenders. Billings will play with her back to the basket and when she received the ball in close proximity to the rim, she does the rest. She can convert on a number of tough shots and understands that interior play means dealing with physicality that can give her and her team plenty of chances at the free throw line.

A noteworthy standout for 5A Brewer, her vast skillset includes being ready to box out in case of an opposing team's missed free throw. While Morrison can certainly make things happen in close proximity to the rim, a midrange jump shot is also part of her offensive skillset. Morrison is a multi-sport athlete who also excels as a volleyball standout in addition to what she gets accomplished on the basketball court. She is listed on her travel team's roster as a small forward but on her high school roster at the four and three – meaning coaches have enough confidence in her to effectively play at either spot in the frontcourt. She does not shy away from contact that can place her at the free throw line and especially can be at her best in crunch time. Rebounding is another one of Malone's strong attributes. If she had the ball in close proximity to the basket, it was almost assuredly another two points. Defensively, Dumas will utilize length to prevent inbounds passes as she will keep her hands outstretched as a defender.
YAG Ballers 17U proved to be one of the most dangerous of teams from the most veteran of divisions.
