Prior to that taking place, we must look back at the weekend it was in Guntersville, Alabama at the Roll Tide Rumble. The gathering in the Yellowhammer State was one of seven Prep Girls Hoops Circuit events to take place around the country – alongside similar get-togethers in Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Kansas, Texas and Washington state.

We at Prep Girls Hoops were on hand for the weekend's festivities. We begin our post-Roll Tide Rumble coverage by acknowledging the 17U First Team.

WT Elite 17U was one of three teams in the division that departed from Alabama with an unblemished record. Opposing teams all weekend had a hard time containing. Acuña. A team with players that have international experience – such as the Florida-based AAU assembling can be especially dangerous at events like Roll Tide Rumble. Acuña fuses together talent, scoring ability, a high basketball IQ and veteran instincts. She maintains a high degree of activity even when the ball is not in her hands. When it is in her hands, she will attract a great deal of attention from defenses.

Telke gives a long-range shooting dimension to what WT Elite 17U – and her Balboa School team – gets accomplished. If she has the ball behind the 3-point line, Telke is very likely to take – and make – said attempt from distance. Defensively, Telke can maintain outstretched arms and that can clog up an opposing team's passing lanes given her length compliments her height. She has no issues changing her defensive assignments on the fly and delivers strong finishes at the rim. The fearless attitude she consistently brings is another attribute that makes her a top-tier prospect. Telke is another prospect with international experience as she brought her talents stateside from Germany.

Alabama-based Lady Bombers 17U was another of the trio of 17U groups that finished with an undefeated record this past weekend. The rising star from 6A Mortimer Jordan was one of three co-captains on a 2025-26 Blue Devils team that finished with a record of 21-13. She may be listed as a point guard but her 3-point shooting capabilities can give her minutes as a shooting guard. Defensively, Scottland is a consistent threat to come away with steals as her footwork can match – and outdo – that of an opposing ball carrier. Ball distribution is another advantage to her well-developed game.

Roman helped Lady Bombers 17U make a home state statement this past weekend in Guntersville. Not only did her team finish with an unblemished 4-0 record but all of Lady Bombers 17U's victories were by double-digit point margins. Her 3-point shooting capabilities are certainly fitting for someone who plays the two. She also will do plenty of the little things that can get a team in the win column – such as diving for loose balls. Defensively, she will help out on double teams and one can locate her on the wing on many occasions. Roman is one of several on Lady Bombers 17U who plays their high school ball with the Blue Devils.

Premier Girls Basketball 17U – also a Florida squad – was the third of the three teams that remained in the win column throughout the entirety of Roll Tide Rumble weekend. Fournier was the key catalyst behind her team's success this past weekend in Alabama. She brings consistent playmaking abilities along with three-level scoring capabilities. The ability to create additional offensive possessions with her defense is another strong attribute to Fournier's game as is her rebounding capabilities. Fournier was part of a 6A Lake Howell team that finished the 2025-26 season with a 23-6 record. She averaged 10.1 points this past season with the Silverhawks.
