Scout’s Notebook Part 1 : Recently Seen Kansas Post Players

This is part one of a three part series that offers a peek at my scouting notes as the appear on my notepads or Rocketbook.  Often they are pretty brief, especially for players I already have some familiarity with already. Clears rebounds well. <strong>Lauren Galliher</strong>, 6'1", C, Hutchinson Trinity, 2022 - Substantially stronger and improved over the previous year. Softer shot. Fair handles in the open court. Great block drop-step right turn to score well over D. Hits her free throws. <strong>Abby Rose</strong>, 6'0", PF, Smoky Valley, 2022 - Long. Elevates well. Fast. Must play offensively aggressive more consistently as she takes pressure off other scorers when she does. Solid three point threat. Strong, quick elbow power-dribble jumper. Gets up for and gathers rebounds. Calls for the ball well. High upside potential.
