Senali Moss Senali Moss 5'8" | CG South Mecklenburg | 2022 State NC | South Mecklenburg
Moss is such a crucial piece for any team that she plays for whether it’s her high school group or her FBC travel team. Her high IQ allows her to make plays with her shot, her passes, or her ability to get inside for rebounds. She knows when to push the tempo and when to slow it down for her team, and she can guard any position on the defensive side of the ball. She’s certainly ready to play at the next level.
Hailey Blackwell Hailey Blackwell 5'5" | PG Winston Salem Christian | 2022 State NC | Winston Salem Christian
Blackwell is a lockdown defender being a pest for her opponents finding ways to create turnovers even with five second calls. She’s quick laterally and moving up and down the court handling the ball with speed. She can blow by her opponents, and she has a nice in and out move that gets her defenders off their feet just enough to get by them. She doesn’t need to be wide open to hit a shot as she has a nice finish at the rim no matter how many hands are trying to get in her face.
Chelsey Santana Chelsey Santana 5'11" | SF Winston Salem Christian | 2022 State NC | Winston Salem Christian
Santana (pictured above) is a fun player to watch as she is always ready to score. She uses her height to cause problems on defense whether she is knocking the ball away or blocking shots. On offense, she always turns to look at the basket analyzing how she can score whether she can show off her jumper or drive to the hoop. She does well sliding into the gaps on defense being ready to catch the pass and put the ball up towards the basket in no time.
Andrehya Shuford Andrehya Shuford 5'5" | CG New Hanover | 2022 State NC | New Hanover
More and more female basketball players are taking advantage of the step back move to put up their shot, and Shuford has been perfecting this move for years. She can knock down the shot from deep, or she can weave her way in and out of defenders to get to the hoop. This ability to score on all levels is why she’s averaging over 23 points a game. She does a great job on the other end of the court jumping into passing lanes to grab steals.
