There was a lot of high quality basketball in Michigan last night. I’m going to give you the top 10 performances from last night.
* This isn’t necessarily an ’all-inclusive’ list, just what I saw and what was reported to me.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="244291" first="Leah" last="Richards"] (2024, F, Lansing Catholic)</strong>
Richards went off from behind the arc in her team’s 55-28 win against Charlotte. She scored 8 points, all from beyond the arc where she shot 6-6.
<h3>#9</h3>
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="253597" first="Ashley" last="Bower"] (2022, SG, Portland)</strong>
Bower lead the way in a 60-33 victory over Ionia. She’s one of the most consistent scorers from a 2 guard spot in the state and she did it again last night with a 21 point game.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="190183" first="Riley" last="Place"] (2023, SG, Goodrich)</strong>
Place came up big in an important conference win over Corunna. She finished the contest with 22 points, but was most notable for stepping up in the 4th quarter. Place had 11 in the final quarter.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="230784" first="Elyssa" last="Kincaid"] (2023, PF, Riverview)</strong>
Kincaid had a double-double while helping her team pick up a win and a 9-0 record in conference. She scored 15 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and added 5 assists and 5 steals. Kincaid is getting it done on both ends and all over the court this season.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="244286" first="Leila" last="Wells"] (2024, SG, Chelsea)</strong>
Wells led the charge in a 66-21 victory against Adrian. She was a sparkplug early and often for the Bulldogs and showed off her silky smooth athleticism and jumper. Wells had 23 points in the game.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="244317" first="Bri" last="Thomas"] (2024, CG, Trenton)</strong>
Thomas put up some staggering numbers in basically 2 quarters of play in a lopsided victory. She ended the night with 15 points, 11 rebounds, 9 assists, and 8 steals. Thomas’ versatile game allows her to be a weapon in so many different ways.
<h3>#4</h3>
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="189283" first="Ava" last="Boike"] (2022, SG, Genesee Christian)</strong>
Boike continued her excellent senior season in a 62-34 win against Beecher. She had a dominating double-douvle, finishing with a game high 26 points and snagging 16 rebounds.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147718" first="Rakiyah" last="Beal"] (2022, SF, Hamtramck)</strong>
Beal showed off her athletic all around game in a hard fought 49-36 win over UPrep. She finished the contest with a triple-double in which she put up 17 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and dished out 10 assists.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147754" first="Gabrielle" last="Lutchka"] (2022, SF, Grass Lake)</strong>
Lutchka has really stepped up this season and she continued to lead the way for Grass Lake in last nights impressive victory against Detroit Renaissance. She lit up the scoreboard with 29 points and also grabbed 9 rebounds.
<h3>#1</h3>
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="244259" first="Riley" last="Abney"] (2024, SG, Brandon)</strong>
Abney is having a dominating sophomore season. She certainly showed that dominance in a 57-32 win against Owosso on Friday night. Abney absolutely torched the nets with 33 points, including an eye popping 8 triples. Both of these numbers set a new school record. She also added 4 assists, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals.
